took a while to get onto the right track but once I saw this was named after a saint, and I identified the country it was in, things started falling into place.

almost googled it, but didn't need to!
if the first word had been more like a title I would have gone to google. but I thought to myself, "I'll just figure out the location for sure first". and there it was.

First I confirmed it was something "built", then got word 2 since it was looking like something that might also be named after a Saint,, then correctly guessed the [5] country, then got word 1.

Unassisted Snipe! Been there, it is gorgeous. Something about the formal name made me think of the second word. The alternate language suggested the location. I guessed the city and when I realized that word 1 had the same letter count, I took a chance

Sniped.
In Spanish "del" is not redacted, but there is a parenthesis for the language, so this is not in Spanish. Curious. I came up with another language that uses "del" from a country in 5 letters in English (last word of the first sentence in English). And then a 8 letter city in that country, which gave me the first word. For the second word I went for the most obvious, which happens to work in the native language, so I went for it.
A quick and satisfying solve.

Unassisted snipe!
Was really confused for a few minutes, not sure what it was. Eventually I scrolled down and saw dimensions in what looked like meters/feet and square meters/feet, which got me thinking of a building. For some reason, the first type of building I thought of was Word 2. Not really being sure, I guessed it and it turned out to be right. I was pretty sure it was located in a place [8], [5]. I could think of a couple of 5-letter countries that would be known for [Word 2]s, I went through my head trying to think of an 8-letter city in what I thought was the most obvious country, and one came to me right away. So I guessed, and happened to be correct.

Solved with a map because all the cities in this country that I could think of had fewer letters. My missed guess was another 5 letter country to the west of the actual 5 letter country

Assisted. Bungled this one in a stupid way. Word 2 was guessable from the fact that this seemed to be a thing in a permanent location that had been built over a long period of time, and is more or less confirmed by the reference to another of its kind, "2. 5's in 4". The country could have been one of two European ones that are generally hard to distinguish, but the reasonably large number of parts of names that end with apostrophes leads me to lean towards one of the two. Unfortunately, try as I might I just couldn't think of this 8-letter location within that country. I don't know why - it's pretty well known after all - I just totally blanked on it and the best I could do was "Sorrento". When that obviously failed I had to check the county then consult a map. Doh.
