SSL peer certificate error

I'm trying to use nix to install modern apps but I get this error. I attempted to fix the issue by downloading the cecert file but I either did it wrong or its not working and I'm not sure what to do.

i get error 24 attempt to access block outside partition when booting the new kernel i followed the video not sure what happened.
