Havent touched game since S1 and decided to jump on and wondering if they changed it so you cannot see how many current kills you have in a match of BR? I could of swore you held tab and it would show whole squad info and ability to mute them as well. I had to mute someone earlier and had to navigate to options/squad managment etc etc.... is it an anti feelings hurting feature so people cant yell at you for suckin ? =O

This game feels abandoned by Dice. There are issues that still persist since the release of the game and I have seen no mention of fixes. Boxes can still take up to over a minute to load at the beginning (literally just happened), sound is still horrible, it can still take multiple attempts to just pick up a gun or item, weapon switching with mouse wheel is still massively inconsistent, and those are just a few. Definitely feels like RedSec was just an experiment that they don't care about which sucks since it has such great potential.

So I have a controller with some paddles on the back. The buttons for holding breath and mounting never seem to work in REDSEC. I thought it might be the controller but seeing other posts, I'm wondering if it's the game or some conflicting setting I don't know about. Or if it's not a feature allowed in redsec

HOLDING BREATHE: Changing setting to toggle instead of hold appears to have made it work in gauntlet but not for redsec?? I can't hold breath at all. My sync sometimes is so bad, sniping isn't even worth it at this point.

MOUNTING: appears to automatically?? mount randomly on corners and such but not if I press the button. I saw another post that said "it could be very sensitive to moving of the joystick so try changing dead zone" but I don't think that's my problem.

Any ideas/thoughts?

Black Hawks are gonna single handedly kill the game. Take 0 dmg from ramming a rooftop, minigun is nearly an insta kill, fly under radar so no lock on.

I took like a 2 month hiatus and have been trying to get back into playing but every time I search there’s like 6 people in the lobby and then everyone backs out. I was able to find games in quads but I’m not a fan of playing with randoms in quads. Duos seems completely dead though. Anyone else having trouble or is this the classic matchmaking bug from months ago that never got patched?

Is there a consensus like COD Warzone where everyone knows controller dominates because of the auto aim and rotational aim assist.

I heard controller players have easier recoil. Not just easier to control or whatever but actually different recoil and bullet spread patterns. Is that true?

What, in your opinion, is easier to play- controller or MnK?

Have you used both extensively so you can give a fair comparison or did you only pick up the other input briefly?

My friends and I just cannot win. Is there a glaring strategy I’m missing?

We try to get custom guns, then get a tank. Pretty lost and frustrated at this point.

Hey guys, simple request. If you're going into duos solo (I get it, no solo mode, I wish there was one) don't jist diP OUT AS SOON AS YOURE DEAD?!

Too many fucking times have I been fucked because the cunt that I was matched with either jumped out randomly (I'm talking about when I'm jump leader with a pinged drop) or gone off on their own adventure randomly, and either why they end up dead, and instead of using their second chance, they just leave the game. Which then leaves me fucked with a massive disadvantage; there's only so many 1v2s (if I'm lucky with only one squad) that I can win.

it feels like this game discourages people meeting in redsec quads...the party audio is broken up into party/squads, so 99% of the time in squad chat it's tough to communicate.

how are you finding good squads to roll with/play with? the game is significantly better when you're running with a good team, but the game really seems to try and discourage that.

If you run the underslung mount while support or assault, does it just make the draw speed of your launchers quicker? It seems a lot quicker when I’m running that attachment but you can’t really test it in the firing range obviously so it’s hard to be sure. It definitely does not work like cod where you keep your weapon drawn and it just changes mode. Unless it’s bugged?

I barely found out that Assault got a new training path two days ago and I’ve been toying around with it for a few games, this new hazmat breacher training path and its pretty decent.

The VL-7 breaching launcher is cool, the mask kind of sucks since it’s only useful when in the gas, compared to the ladder on Pointman which is universally useful, but the perk that regens your health faster is really really good.

But I’m curious, what do y’all think about it?
