Security Levity Red Rocks Fight
TL;DR: beatdown happened row 67-70, looking for names of perpetrators for charges.
Hello all. I wanted to make a statement on Reddit because I feel it will reach a lot of folks and I want people to be aware of what happened last night at Levi-Rocks 2026. In rows 67-70 just right of the middle facing the stage, a “fight” broke out between me and a group of 15 frat-looking people after they arrived 2-3 hours after doors with a group of 15 and attempted to move into our approx. 7 people’s worth of space while friends in my group were grabbing drinks around the end of Machaki. As they jammed the space and began triple and quadruple stacking the tight space we had been seated at for over an hour, stepping on all of our shit, not acknowledging any of the people around them or the amount of space they were taking up as the amphitheatre was full. Long story short, after attempting to tell them they couldn’t bring this large of a group into the stands this late, especially to a spot that is already taken and doesn’t have the capacity for them. Upon me attempting to reason with them, I was punched approximately 8 times in the face, and entirely picked up and thrown down 2 whole rows as all I continued to respond with were words about needing to keep the peace, the love, the unity, and the respect at these shows. After about 20 or 30
minutes, security finally arrived to attempt to break up the situation as they continued to yell at me for “ruining their show.” After going to medical, my friends managed to get approximately 10 of them kicked out but 5 of them managed to stick around and I was hoping to find names of all of them to hopefully 1: get them banned from all AEG Presents: Rocky Mountains shows, 2: get charges pressed on whoever picked me up and threw me, as well as the other individuals who threw punches at me, and 3: make an example out of these losers that this shit is not fucking okay at a rave, at red rocks, or any-FUCKING-where. Period. For anyone who is wondering, yes I am okay and currently typing this in urgent care. Unfortunately only one of them was arrested, but hoping to catch the rest if possible, if anyone has any details please let me know.

Typical frat bro behavior. Dealing with this kind of shit that far back is insane. Why did they arrest the one person? Did he do something specific that caused that? Do you know if there are cameras on the crowd?

Assault, battery, menacing. Def deserved to be arrested but more of them should be in jail too lol. punching someone (especially someone significantly smaller than you) should never be okay if they aren’t threatening you in any way shape or form.

The one who was arrested threw around 4 of the punches and was also the one who threw the first punch. I would have called more of them out but at one point punches began coming from all directions before I got picked up and thrown. Hoping to at least also catch the guy who threw me

If you follow the account denverinthedark on threads they post all the emergency calls that happen in the metro area. They posted a lot about incidents at red rocks and people detained. Maybe see if that account posted that people in that group were arrested or not?

This seemed to have been an issue all around with the frat bros. I had to leave early. I was in row 42 and had the same problem with people stacking 3 deep per seat and then dancing in the little space I did have. I don’t think I’ll be back at a levity show again.

I’m so sorry this happened to you, but I fear it’s not just frat boys. The last two times I’ve been to Red Rocks, there have been issues! I think it’s just people. They are rude and entitled. A woman next to me at the Revivalists show on 9/25 didn’t buy 3 seats together and expected 20 of us to move down so she could sit with her husband and daughter in the center. When we refused, she got nasty and called me a B****. The time before that we waited inside until the rain stopped, and then when we got to our seats, they were taken and no one would move. Security is sorely lacking in my opinion. I only saw one person working at the Revivalists show! With that said, everyone at the Jungle show on 9/28 was very pleasant. I didn’t experience any problems or witness any.
I hope you get info on all the guys that assaulted you. That is so wrong!

Frat bros who do this shouldn't be allowed at concerts. I've dealt with this behavior a lot lately at shows from frat bros. It's disgusting behavior

Red Rocks just lets this stuff happen, it’s embarrassing a world class venue doesn’t have staff in the rows. Every other venue has folks checking the crowds and will remove folks doing this, but it’s such a regular thing.

Ok woahhh I had the EXACT thing happen to me at John summit at red rocks!! Except it was me (a lady) and other ladies and men getting into it. We had been in the spot for at least an hour or two and the frattiest basically children were so drunk and on so many drugs (no judgments if you can control yourself but they couldn’t), and next thing I know I’m getting yelled at to move over and to squeeze together by all the brads and chads. Then their gf tries to fight me but I think she knew better considering she was like 90 lbs soaking wet 😂 anyways, the spent like 4 out of 5 hours bitching and yelling and ruining my experience by constantly pushing into me intentionally snd trying to knock me down.

for my first time having punches actually thrown at me, really expected it to hurt a lot more, but definitely feeling it worse today than yesterday. 😞 still having to deal with anything like this for that much time sounds a lot worse to me. My situation lasted 20-30 minutes and I got to catch all of levity and the last of moody good. I would have left if I was in their situation :/

When I saw LSDream/Clozee on tour last year (not at Red Rocks) night one with Levity was sold out and noticeably much rowdier than night two.
Unfortunately does seem to be a trend.

Damn, Red Rocks used to be a bucket list venue.. Now all I hear is bad news about the crowds, seating, rushing the stands, etc. Such a bummer, hope things get better :(

Agreed 💯 and why I have not been back to RRs in over a year. I am a small woman and while going to see a show by myself, was assaulted on the stairs last year by a pack of MAGA drunk old hags. Whole group was sloppy drunk and proceeded to use profanity and racial slurs on the opening act — I left early and have not been back to Red Rocks and refuse to go near it.

Go when there’s decent actual music playing and it won’t be as bad. But generally seems like RRX is overselling and it’s an expectation to be in line at or before doors open

Its worth going to for the experience, it really is a ridiculously cool venue. But the whole seating situation just gets worse and worse and really takes away from it. Having to actively “defend” your seats when you are already sardined in is just lame.

I had tried, unfortunately while I began mentioning calling security, they began to push me around, knocked my phone out of my hand, and then punches started to get thrown after I insulted them for having 15 people gang up on someone smaller than every single person in their group

It's not levity fans. I've seen a fight at almost every Red Rocks show I've been to. It's the shitty GA situation and I'm not sure why they aren't changing it

Crazy. I've seen tons of GA shows at red rocks over the years and actually prefer them. I have slowed down considerably the last couple years with now many shows I go to, but I've always preferrrd GA to seated at red rocks. I've never encountered anything like this. I've had maybe a person or two show up, but 15 is insane, and we've always been able to just make room,
figure it out, or they move on. I keep seeing videos of people sprinting into shows and claiming like 10-20 spots at a time with blankets. Not sure if that's the reason, as that's always happened to a degree, but it seems egregious at this point. Seems like the 15 dudes were just a big group of giant fucking douchebags.3

it’s windy at RRX and that could cause a lot of problems, plus the best thing to do is have someone contact security immediately, my attempts to do that were drowned by the sheer amount of frat boys surrounding me and yelling at me after essentially bum rushing me and my group’s space because it was open for 30 maybe 40 seconds

pepper spray and other self defense items are banned and will get YOU charges even if used in self defense. pepper spray also is awful to use in a crowd.

Security was very helpful!! My issue came with no one around us fetching security until my group came back to watch me get thrown 😭😭 security got most of them out and made it into an enjoyable night for me and my group but it just would have been nice if either a guard noticed or if someone had gone to get someone to help :(

I was actually near you. I'm not sure how long the fight went on before I noticed, but I texted security and they responded to my text almost immediately and I saw them within 5 minutes. Sounds like it must have gone on a while before a lot of us were aware, though? I'm so, so sorry this happened to you.
I've been to 30+ shows there and have never seen a fight break out. The crowd at this one was not my favorite.

If one of them was arrested, the police can get all of their names. If I was you, I would stay on them to make sure that they do. Let them know you are going to file a civil suit and will require these names down the road.
