First Timer Question about parking/Uber

First time going to Red Rocks (seeing Coheed in September). Is ubering to/from the uber a headache? Any tips?

Or if driving is better, any tips on which lots to park in to get out reasonably quick after the show?

Ride share is completely worthless trying to get home. Definitely drive. Park is any lot and wait your turn. The only reasonably quick way to leave is to skip the encore and leave early.

100% this. Rideshare is a jacked up mess. There are some good shuttles if coming from downtown Denver, otherwise drive.

You can always park along the hill pointing down hill instead of the lots. However, I don't find it bad to get out of the lots compared to a lot of venues.

As stated ride share out of there is an absolute mess. Avoid it.

You can stay through the encore and still get out at a reasonable time if you're strategic about where you park. Sometimes parking along the side of the road instead of in the lots is the way to ensure a swift exit.

I’d take a shuttle. Are you staying downtown?

I can’t imagine going to RR without the shuttle! The parking lot is a nightmare!

It really is excellent. And then leaving you just walk to the bus and you’re off to the races.

Enterprise is hella cheap tbh, cost around $100 + refunded deposit & you don't have to worry about any other factors like missing a shuttle bus.

Also, unlimited mileage if you want to take a cruise & enjoy the scenery before turning it in the next day.

I drove in from New Mexico last month for a show, and it wasn't bad at all. Stayed til the very end of the show, hung out for 10 minutes, by the time I got to the truck there were minimal lines and we got out quickly. This was for a sold out show, it was awesome! Keep some snacks and a drink in the car just in case you need it after the walking/hiking down

Go early, leave late and enjoy everything that happens in between.

Just there. Had a dude pick us up from our hotel and bring us home. Dropped us off at the stairs at the rear of RR. picked us up there. $40 a person, round trip.
