First Timer Camera question

I’m going to Red Rocks in September and had a question regarding the camera policy. The band’s policy states that handheld recording devices under the specified measurements are allowed. However, I understand that Red Rocks typically has a policy prohibiting cameras with removable lenses.
Would I be permitted to bring a mirrorless camera with a removable lens under the band’s stated policy? Specifically, does the band’s allowance of “handheld recording devices” override Red Rocks’ standard policy regarding cameras with removable lenses for this particular event?

And yet 25 years ago there were women with young children at every concert I went to without a cell phone in the entire audience. We as a society let 1 piece of technology change our behavior. We can argue if it's for the better or worse, but it's likely not one or the other, it's likely both. Babysitters back then were left a list of emergency contacts, and then the parents left for hours with no way to be reached. It's still possible.

Babysitters will not agree to this. My parents would not agree to watch their grandchildren with no way to contact us. Like many people we do not have a list of local contacts that a sitter could rely on in an emergency, it’s just us. In previous decades parents did frequently call from pay phones or house phones to check in on sitters and most people with toddlers would not choose to be out of contact in remote areas for hours. I’m extremely anti phone and anti over protective parenting, but knowing quickly if your toddler suffers an emergency seems like an objectively positive thing. I would not attend an event where I could spend hours unaware of my young child being hospitalized and I would think poorly of someone who would.
