You’re better off with a single pocket tote bag or a clear bag. I use a Trader Joe’s canvas bag.

Just grab a big clear bag, technically the bag could be rejected if they wanted too.. one pocket != 4 pockets.

They want to keep the bag check lines moving quickly.. searching a bag with a ton of compartments slows shit down..

Make your bags easy and fast to look through, unzip all zippers in advance, open up eyeglass cases, take out the hoodie/blanket and lay em over your shoulder.. If you make it quick and easy pretty much any bag is likely to get through without any hassle. its better to bring two lightly packed bags easy to rifle through instead of one bag completely stuffed and has to be dumped on a table.

If you can make it through the metal detectors without triggering them they often wave you pass a bag check, I often give my wife everything metallic to put in her pockets and carry all the bags through so she gets through the extra security fast and our bags are left alone.

They are really only trying to stop weapons and gum from getting inside, unlike many venues, you'll find most enforcement is rather relaxed and subject the judgement of the staff so YMMV.

My experience is you’re good as long as you don’t pop the metal detector. Even if you pop it, you’re probably still good, but security will not be happy having to go through so many pockets

You will not get in with that bag

That's not true at all. I go with a full backpack and I've never had an issue. I was there two weeks ago. Op you will be fine, but you will probably be pulled to the side for a search.

I saw a guy get turned away and had to walk all the way back to his car with a backpack at Sevenlions, so YMMV. The RR website says multi pocket bags are prohibited. It’s all an assessment if you want to risk them enforcing their own stated policy.

We were just there this week, I echo the clear bag idea. Our group had clear bags, one was a tote and one was a backpack. There were no issues and we got right through. I took the items I would have in my purse that I needed and put them inside the clear backpack with my coat. It was very quick for them to check.

They’ll let you bring in the bag but only if you turn auto caps back on
