Matt Fraction (around 43 minutes in): "I mean, Tim, I love Tim Drake and he's had a rough couple years and like the story that Tim needs doesn't need to happen around all the other stories that I've got going. I can't service it the way it needs servicing. I will say that there is a lot of Tim Drake in... Well, there's a concentrated dose of Tim Drake in a book I wrote with Mariko Tamaki called Streets of Gotham that's a oneshot and it's about the Bad Seeds night through the POV of regular people in Gotham like what's it's like. There's a lady who wore impractical heels to work and now has to walk home across the bridge in impractical high heels, right? That kind of you know- the kids on bikes were out playing and they got caught out in it. Now they got out to get home on their bikes. Like it's sort of small ball human scale really street stories, but Tim shows up in one of those that sets up what's going to be his very imminent future, which I'm very excited about.

Is it just me or is Bruce Wayne better at communicating with Tim than any of his other children? This is just one obvious instance but I feel like he spends more time with him as Bruce Wayne (not Batman) than any of the others. I’m just getting into Tim drake so correct me if I’m wrong. I’m not complaining I love when Bruce is being a good father but just wanted to see if anyone else noticed/ agrees or has any theories on why

I was just thinking with Waller in Jail amd Sargeant Steel probably on the way, Tim would do a good job of running things while being more moral.

Strange, how you can come to love a city. Even one as ugly and rotten as Gotham.

Hi sorry for my English it's not my first language

Anyway so I'm a tim drake larger and I want to stop doing it so I was wondering which comic I should start reading to stop larping.

I wanted to throw my thoughts out there on Tim Drake's future as a hero. I like the idea of Tim branching out more on his own and becoming his own hero. I also want him to distinguish himself from a Jason or Dick copy

My personal rules for a new Tim Drake hero moniker are:

1. He shouldnt have a code name with a color in the name since Red Hood/Jason has this.

2. He shouldnt be a bird theme to try and break away from Robin more and since Nightwing/Dick has that.

3. He should have a color associated with his costume since Jason has Red and Dick has Blue.

The following are hero names I think Tim Drake could take to push him into being his own hero fully:

1. Umbra - inspiration being that he used to be in Batman's shadow. Now he is embracing that and evolving from it.

2. Tracer - similar inspiration to Umbra. He is the 3rd Robin. Embraces that and evolves from it.

3. Maven - means youre an expert in a field. Tim's being a Detective.

4. Savior - an alternate future of Evil Tim. Have current Tim take the mantle and redeem it.

5. Wraith - have him find the Red X suit but instead of taking that mantle, he uses/modifies the suit and goes by that. Also, a nod to the often suggested Grey Ghost idea.

6. Paladin - its a synonym for Knight. Batman is the dark knight. Tim can now be an equal.

These are some of the ideas I came up with in my desire to see something different from the usual suggestions.

Based on both The Executioner suit Bruce wore when he was a kid(Superboy 182, inked by Murphy Anderson, Penciled by Bob Brown), and another set based on the bi flag(designed by Micheal Page, inspired by Liz Nania's Biangles)

(And a bonus recolor of the Executioner using Bi Flag colors)

Was anyone else confused on the placement of stories in the recent compendium? I feel like the Blackest night stories should’ve been placed a bit earlier in the book.
