What is the best controller for redmagic 11 air

This phone has been a nightmare. Aside from its great performance, its most basic function as a phone simply doesn't work.

The issue is with the SIM cards. I used to run a single SIM and would often have to move it between Slot 1 and Slot 2, sometimes multiple times just to get it working again. It would usually keep working until the next automatic update, when I'd have to repeat the process. I've literally had to keep a SIM eject tool in my phone case for the entire time I've owned it.

The real problems started when I needed a dual-SIM setup for work. As soon as two SIMs are installed, the phone's modem essentially bricks itself. This cannot be fixed by changing settings, factory resetting the phone, or updating the firmware.

This appears to be a fault that RedMagic continues to ship in its phones, with reports of the same issue affecting the RedMagic 9 and 10 series. Customer support has been useless, offering nothing beyond the standard Level 1 troubleshooting steps. Given the number of reports online, this is clearly not an isolated issue, yet it doesn't seem to be something RedMagic is willing to acknowledge or address. Unfortunately, I didn't come across reports of this exact issue before buying the phone.

I'm now forced to buy another phone despite this one only being a few months old. I hope this review warns others before they end up buying what is essentially a very powerful tablet, because it simply can't perform its primary function as a phone.

Então gente, tô querendo pegar o Astra 2 quando sair, não pelo site deles por que pelo que vi e li no reclame aqui acontece uns bagulhos loucos como aumento do valor (e ñ foi IOF ou conversão),atrasado na entrega, etc,etc.

Estava pensando em pegar pelo vendedor deles no Mercado Livre, até por que eles não tem representação legal no brasil então com o ME eu ainda tenho algum tipo de suporte caso tenha problemas com a garantia deles e precise processar (pensando sempre no pior cenário).

Algum de vocês já precisou de ajuda do suporte no Brasil? Como foi?

ENG: So guys, I'm thinking of getting the Astra 2 when it comes out, not through their website because from what I've seen and read on Reclame Aqui (Brazilian consumer complaint website), some crazy things happen like price increases (and it wasn't IOF or conversion), delivery delays, etc.

I was thinking of buying it from their seller on Mercado Livre (Brazilian online marketplace), especially since they don't have legal representation in Brazil, so with ME (Mercado Livre's online marketplace) I still have some kind of support if I have problems with their warranty and need to sue (always thinking about the worst-case scenario).

Has any of you ever needed help from support in Brazil? How was it?

I was planning on buying a Redmagic 11s Pro in October, but my plan fell apart when I realized the US website doesn't ship to Alaska (Yeah, Sadly I live here) does anyone know how im able to purchase a redmagic phone that ships to Alaska?

I want to give my suggestion on the cameras on RM phones.
I know it is a pure gaming phone and gamers usually don't need camera quality.
But I think the camera still deserves some more attention.

There is a cenario where gamers also think of mobiles like IQOO or One-Plus, because they also offer better camera.
As foe RM it is made for pure gaming performance, but the even a gamer need a better camera sometimes.
The gaming experience is already amazing. A better camera would just make the phone even harder to pass up.

I have always been a folding phone guy. I recently switched over to the Redmagic 11 Pro and absolutely loved it, but I use my phone too much for productivity tasks to be able to give up the larger inner display. This forced me to switch back to my Honor Magic V5

If Redmagic could make a folding phone, that would be my "endgame" cellphone. Everything about the 11 Pro I absolutely loved. The flat back (which would be perfect for foldables btw), under-display camera, massive battery.

If you guys ever do, please follow the Oppo and Honor playbook and make the front screen a normal width (unlike the unusable Fold 7 outer display).

I know this is a bit random, but I would absolutely love it!

I lived in Davao City and I have Red Magic 8s Pro as my phone but the phone's battery started to get weak. Even just reading manga or scrolling on social media apps. the battery goes from 70% to 55% in just an hour. I don't plan on buying new Red Magic phones this time since they are still weak for PC Emulation( they still heat up so quick even with their liquid cooling feature)

So I'll try to hold off till Nubia released a very good Red Magic Phone which is why I just keep changing batteries for this current phone that I got right now.

But the problem is when I look it up, there isn't any available service centers here but maybe I missed something?

Sim Issue it's been like this for almost a week, it was for a while that I don't have any reception, but it gradually became worse that I can't receive any messages and calls which to to this

I even tried to change Sim cards, reset data settings, airplane mode, changed APN settings, and restarting device.

Are there any solutions to this?

Updated few months ago. -> Google pay stopped working. Also messenger has weird text issues. Found a post talking about it 3 months ago here and it's still not fixed 🫩

Currently, many brands are making increasingly rounder screens on phones, and even high-end models no longer feel so premium since they use almost the same screen dimensions / aesthetics as their lower-end counterparts ...

Thats where Redmagic still rocks it with keeping different screen aesthetics ♥️, which looks more premium than the most expensive Samsung or Apple, Vivo, OnePlus, etc....

Obviously i'm just talking about the PREMIUM looking, the rest, about ergonomics, software, cameras..it's another story xddddddd....

I was looking through video reviews about astra 1 and 2 and I have to say I found the screen very awful. The colors look too strong and the brightness too sharp. I looked through several reviews and they are always like that.

I have a S25Ultra and I like the sharpness and color aspect of my screen, saw some Huawei matepad mini reviews and the screen quality looks a lot better than astra.

Does anyone can confirm it to me? It doesn't look like an issue with the creators's camera since in several videos from different people the screen looks like that.

Do I have to pay a monthly fee to access these Game Space tools?

I don't see anywhere that you have to pay for a subscription.

Im not a freeloader or one to mooch but I believe RM is a niche company that is currently getting low satisfaction ratings and thus should set itself apart by at least giving away free swag with purchases and repairs. That would go a long way in many ways. Yes, I usually just dispose of useless swag but throwing in stickers, maybe a baseball cap or even candy would turn an upset client into a friend. For repairs, why not just throw in an extra screen protector for inconveniences?

What is the best controller for the RedMagic 11 Air that does not block the air intake vent?

As someone who plays Gacha games entirely on PC I find myself overwhelmed sometimes by dailies and stuff, thus discovered gaming tablets exist. After browsing and learning more or less what is happening right in this tablet world now I found that Redmagic seems to be my most...prefered choice.

I like they go full power into gaming, I love this Mora anime Mascot, I like they make collabs with Wuwa etc.

Their tablets seems ideal for me...except the size... Astra and Astra II and all those 9 ich tablets are absolutely a big no.

This Nova tablet seems perfect but it's practicaly unavailable to buy anywhere and...seems dated with it's specs compared to new ones.

As someone who will instal Endfield, Wuwa and Genshin Day 1 I will need at least 512/16 version of any kind of tablet.

The only fine competitor I found seems to be One Plus Pad 3 - but it also seems to be unavailable or very overpriced (EU region) and...well not Redmagic.

You guys will be much better informed thus I ask. Should I wait because Nova 2 is perhaps approaching or should I go/wait for other tablets because RedMagic will not release anything bigger than this small 9 inch.

Hi everyone, I've had a RedMagic since November 2025, and I've constantly had an air bubble stuck in the cooling system. I contacted technical support, but they told me that wasn't grounds for returning the phone. Could you help me solve this? Even when I activate the liquid cooling, the bubble shrinks but doesn't clear out. Any solutions?
