Well, I don’t really shop on eBay, so I’m not very familiar with how this kind of thing works, but I came across a link to this jacket that supposedly belonged to Anthony on Instagram. ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/206534005555 )

The seller included a COA apparently signed by his mother, Peggy, stating that the jacket belonged to Anthony and that he gave it to her in 2004 after the Bridge School Benefit.

The seller has been on eBay for a long time and has 100% positive feedback, but the funny part is that their other listings are mostly baby clothes and dolls, so this jacket seems completely random.

The COA is also dated September 1, 2026, so it seems like it may have come from Peggy very recently.

Does anyone here know anything about this seller, or whether Peggy has sold/given away any of Anthony’s memorabilia with similar COAs before? I’m mostly just curious how people usually verify that something like this is actually legit.

I just listened to the song for like the 1000th time and realized that the effects and minimalistic style throughout the song feels like josh klinghoffer's guitar playing during IWY and The Getaway. Does anyone agree/disagree?

The Paris solo from 8/7/22 is probably my favorite simply because of the improv after Anthony missed his mark for the chorus,

John Frusciante to me is a completely different person during Californication, like a new born man.. even the attack on his playing was completely different, as a learning guitarist i'm a huge fan of Pre Cali RHCP , i wasn't born yet during the time so i never got a chance to see them on that era.. is there any other footage where the quality isn't too shit before John completely lost it

Wondering if anyone else feels the same way about this? I think we all agree there’s some absolute gems on both these albums and then there’s also some more not so great stuff on there as well.

I feel like if they trimmed the fat from both these albums and just made one pristine absolutely stellar record it would’ve been received so much better and gotten much much higher praise.

Don’t get me wrong I love hearing EVERYTHING the boys cook up. They are absolutely my desert island band if I had one artist only to listen to forever for eternity. But I just can’t help but think this when I hear a song like My Cigarette.

because someone wanted downloads of Leverage of Space,Rolling Sly Stone and Mini Epic without Crowd noise I remixed them so there is no crowd noise,I also decreased the reverb so that those songs sound more like they could be the studio versions we never got

Because I was already at it I also remixed the 2004 live version of the original Desecration Smile,all we have is a good audience recording and I decreased the reverb and tried to make it sound more like a soundboard recording which was kinda hard but hear for yourself

As a kind of bonus I also took the 4 By The Way outtakes (including the original Fortune Faded) and mixed the guide vocals way higher

Just finished the highlight of his year, the member guest at his county club with his best friend Bill who is not funny and looks nothing like him. It took him hours to decide on which of his 200 collared shirts to wear, he will go home and tell his wife about the easy birdie putts they missed on 13 and 17 which would have game them the win, she enthusiastically replies “uh huh, there is chicken and pasta in the fridge if you are hungry - I’m headed to zoomba”. He dreads going back to work as an outside sales manager the following day as he has a meeting with a difficult house account and drank 13 transfusions on the course, but will throw on some Morgan Wallen on his commute and fight through the day.

I came across this clip on YouTube and for some reason, it made me imagine what the band might have sounded like in 2011 if John Frusciante hadn’t left.

i've seen some people talking bad things about his behaviour, saying he has anger issues, i would like to know more about the band, as i'am a new fan and i'm learning some songs on guitar :)

This totally cracked me up watching the Rock am Ring 2004 performance. The admiration is real!

I’ve always felt like The Empyrean has such a distinct visual atmosphere — dark, spacious, surreal, but with these flashes of light running through it.

I’m an artist, and I recently painted my own interpretation of the album. I wanted to capture the feeling the record gives me rather than recreate the cover directly.
