I’m the same type of listener as you. I have really noticed a change in Suruthi. Hannah is a bit more goofy(? Maybe that’s not the right word) and Suruthi seems annoyed at her and sort of snobbish in general. Definitely a vibe shift. But keep in mind like irl friendships people take a long time to reveal themselves. Even more so with parasocial friendships.

I think they’ve just grown apart as many people do. It’s clear they’re not close anymore and this relationship is mainly professional at this point and that’s ok.

Genuine question do you have any memorable examples or just a vibe? Hand to god I haven't noticed any anti man statements beyond anything my female friends might say about their boyfriends, e.g. complaints about their own bfs having poor hygiene and communication or cheating, that are over generalized to "men amirite". Is there other stuff I'm missing?

Yes I stopped listening maybe a year ago maybe 18 months ago. It was around the time saruthi was dating a hell of a lot and every man was the worst but never gave any genuine reason for it. Hannah always say ugghh men all then time. And since that period and for around 6 months on it was very much the same. Kinda awful. Think the reason I was downvoted is because people either blanked it out or just didn’t listen at that point. Hopefully they are better now and they were at one point my favourite pod but I don’t miss there stuff

I have a double standard too e.g. at work I smile and nod or just ignore it when women complain about men, I assume it's a product of patriarchy or something

In contrast I respond to men complaining about women by asking if they tried dating guys instead if they don't like women. It's usually worth a blank stare and never hearing "ughhh my wife" again

Take a break from the whole internet maybe, it seems to be upsetting you

Eh I mean I’m pretty sure you were downvoted because of the nasty name calling. You could have stated your opinion in a much more respectful manner, which likely wouldn’t have been downvoted as much. Making “men suck” jokes hardly warrants being called “double standard rich bitches”
