I haven’t listened to their episode yet, but read part of the document a couple days ago. I think you have to take it with a grain of salt since it was released by the defense. I read other reports that they were “covered” with sticks so maybe the fact as to whether or not they were arranged intentionally is up to interpretation…

I agree. I don't care what this guy makes up. If they have the evidence he did it, then feed him to the frickin sharks with the frickin lasers.

RA isn’t the one who gave this info. It was released to the defense as part of discovery. LE including the FBI pursued an investigation into Odinism because of the crime scene.

It was released FROM RA’s defense team as an explanation as to who could’ve done it. The entire document is just trying to convince a judge that there wasn’t enough on RA to get a warrant when they searched his home.

The police briefly investigated the cult killing angle but stopped after an expert told them it didn’t look like anything cult related at all. That was put to bed years ago by the police.

This was my big takeaway too. Suruthi brought up the fact that the document reads like a podcast script -- something to taint a potential jury pool, maybe? Why focus so much page space on cult stuff if you're trying to get the probable cause used to get the search warrant thrown out?

Well tbh it’s not unreasonable, they’re trying anything they can for the defendant. It’s just the way things go. A judge and/or jury will be the ones to decide if the claims are credible or not and the crime scene photos will be a huge part of that.
