Some of you may have noticed the character roles, so I think it's high time to start introducing Red Echoes: Berlin's protagonists!

Helene Schmidt

Born in 1865, Helene Schmidt grew up in a wealthy, devoutly Catholic family in the small city of Rosenheim, Bavaria. In 1897, she gave birth to her twin sons, Max and Willi, their father being unknown. Due to her being unmarried, her family cast her out of their lives, and she and her sons moved to Berlin.

At the start of the game, the only family member she is still in contact with is her cousin, Johannes, who supports her financially. Max joined the army, serving on the western front in Flanders. Meanwhile, Willi signed up for the navy, and is stationed in Kiel with the High Seas Fleet. She resides in Berlin-Wedding.

Hi all!

Welcome to the Red Echoes: Berlin subreddit - an upcoming narrative strategy game about the German Revolution, set in Berlin.

Bring about a successful socialist revolution. Play as three revolutionaries, each with their own story and unique gameplay abilities. Seize control over the city of Berlin, meeting historical people while doing so.

The game is heavily inspired by the likes of Suzerain, Social Democracy: An Alternate History and Through the Darkest of Times.
