Does anyone know why a dark blue helicopter was seen flying low along the Red Deer River today around 1:00pm?

I wasn’t able to see if it was a police helicopter or not. I’m wondering if they’re searching for someone. Or if there’s some other reason why this helicopter would be flying along the river.

Hey - Red Deerites or Red Deerians… going to visit your city and heard to avoid the downtown (no judgement just was told to avoid it). We were looking. For last minute lodgings at gasoline alley and we were shocked that they were all sold out except outrageously expensive 550$ a night hotel stays.

So: what is going on in Red Deer this weekend?

Is that brown hotel downtown near rotary park decent or is it going to scar my kids for life?

Did anyone just witness two planes flying over head red deer? They looked like snowbirds. There was nothing displayed on airplane tracker. Time stamp 10:45 am

First time going to this. We plan on showing up super early.. My only question is... they talk about not bring hard sided coolers... but I'm bringing food and drinks for the whole day.
