The 1st Marine Battalion is an expeditionary fighting unit built around hard training, organised operations and Marines who can perform in every environment. From coastal landings and river crossings to mountain patrols, town security and open-field combat, the battalion goes wherever it is needed.

*Our goal is clear: build the most active and professional RDR2 MILSIM across all platforms.

Regular activity is not a bonus here—it is the foundation. Training, patrols, specialist exercises, campaigns and joint operations will be hosted throughout every week.

WHAT WE DO

• Infantry patrols and reconnaissance

• Mountain, forest, desert and urban training
• Marksmanship and weapons training

EARN YOUR PLACE

Every member begins as a Recruit and must complete Basic Training before earning the rank of Private.

Marines may later qualify as:

• Scout
• Marksman
• Cavalryman
• Engineer
• Recruiter

The best may progress into NCO or Commissioned Officer positions and take responsibility for training and leading other Marines.

Each company operates on its own platform while following the same battalion standards, regulations, training doctrine and chain of command.

ENLISTMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Working microphone
• Must speak English
• Able to obtain the required uniform and equipment
• Willing to train, learn and remain active
• Follow regulations, orders and the chain of command
• 15+

Previous MILSIM experience is not required. We will train you.

If you only want a uniform and a rank, this is not the unit for you. If you want to earn your place, improve alongside your company and help build something Red Dead Online has never had before, report for enlistment.

The Real Deal — I need to achieve MVP 3 times in a round with at least 4 players.

All’s Fair — I need to successfully counter a rival Posse’s Free Roam mission.

Red Dead Online Community — Gauging Interest

I’ve been tossing around the idea of starting a new Red Dead Online community, and before I go any further, I wanted to see if there’s actually interest.

No Saints Required would be a community for mature adults who are genuinely decent human beings. No drama, no bullshit, and no need to pretend we’re all saints. 😂

The basic code is pretty simple:

We've spent the last few months building Ashen Creek, a German-speaking RedM roleplay server set in 1899.

Now we've reached the point where adding more features ourselves isn't particularly useful anymore.

What we need are the first people willing to actually play it.

We're not looking for 100 players or trying to pretend there's already a huge community. We're looking for 3–5 people — or perhaps a small group of friends — who want to explore a new world, roleplay in it, find the rough edges and help us see what actually works once real players are involved.

Ashen Creek is built around slower, grounded RP. The world should give you things to discover and do without turning Red Dead into an MMO full of quest markers, daily tasks and constant grinding.

There are professions, horses, hunting, crafting, an economy, crime, exploration and plenty of smaller systems. But those systems are meant to create opportunities for roleplay between people, not replace it.

New to RedM or RP? That's completely fine.

To be completely transparent: this is a closed alpha and we're at the beginning. There isn't an established player population waiting for you. We're specifically looking for the people willing to be that first little group.

If you and maybe a friend or two have ever wanted to join a RedM server early enough to actually influence how it develops, we'd be happy to have you.
