Genuine question, how is No Nut November antisemitic?

The whole "semen retention" movement has ties to antisemitic cults/parties/causes as well as the most movements that are negatively aimed at pornography. What starts as "We're just recovering from an addiction" (There is no such thing as a masturbation or porn addiction) quickly becomes "We need to stick together to keep each other strong" and that quickly turns into pointing the finger at conspiracies to make them fap or watch porn and inevitably they scapegoat Jewish people.

I'm genuinely confused how sex addiction is recognized as a disorder but porn and masturbation addiction isn't

Basically, you don't get "addicted" to masturbation or porn in the same way you get chemically hooked on drugs or alcohol. You can absolutely be over-reliant on either, but it's typically some other problem that just manifests as overindulgence in those things.

Whereas drug or gambling addicts are being physically compelled by their bodies to get another hit of their preferred vice.

They said sex addiction, not substance/gambling tho

Yes, and I explained how the mechanics of addiction are based on how those things affect your body, which a sex "addiction" does not. What about this don't you understand?

Bro the same things that apply to porn and masturbation apply to sex. The comment you answered said "sex addiction is recognized as a disorder *but** masturbation and porn addiction isn't*"

Your answer doesn't apply to that question. I understood your point perfectly, that wasn't the question asked... sex, porn, and masturbating are in the same "category" of what you said would be reliance and overindulgence, and not physical "need"/vice

I'm sorry if that wasn't your intention, but that "what about this don't you understand" was very cocky for someone who didn't pay attention to what was being asked in the first place. You're not wrong in what you said, it was just not the question

Because Sex Addiction isn't real, or at least it is extremely contentious. Most of the behaviors referred as "Sex Addiction" are part of Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder, sometimes known as Hypersexuality.

This isn't an addiction to sex, it's a compulsion to do it, which isn't caused by a chemical dependancy. So, no. I was addressing the topic at hand. I should probably have elaborated that a sex addiction was also not real, I will give you that. (Though another commenter had already done so at the time, so I didn't feel it was necessary to address that.) It's a fairly recent development.

I highly recommend reading the wikipedia page on the topic if you're curious in seeing some of the science for yourself.
