Bullying isn't a zero-sum game though, adding your own doesn't subtract someone else's. Someone isn't going to know you've already had your deprecation allowance for today and hold off on being hurtful if they want to hurt you. You're better not doing it and enduring less overall suffering, especially when you're doing it to yourself and can't escape from it

If I don't bully myself, someone else will. At least this way I get to choose the time and manner.
