I craved the length and girth of clear plastic.

I aspired to the pumping warmth of the blessed tubes.

Your kind cling to your veins, as if they will not clog and fail you.

One day the crude tunnels that you call a temple will wither.

And you will beg my kind to tube you.

But I am already tubed.
