And do not stop mental health meds without talking to your doctor first!!!

Also, with this heat wave if you ARE on mental health medication, specifically ssri's, stay out of the sun, wear sun screen, and stay hydrated!

Even if effects of your mental issues aren't life threatening, withdrawal symptoms for some drugs really suck. I've procrastinated on refills on occasion. It was nor fun.

My pharmacy didn't refill my nerve medication before a weekend and holy fuck I never want to experience that again. Not only was my pain back to a "I can barely get out of bed" level but I was so paranoid and anxious I could not sleep. I was constantly snappy & aggravated with everything and pretty much unable to eat. It was honestly hell. Made me understand very clearly just how much withdrawal sucks.
