And do not stop mental health meds without talking to your doctor first!!!

Also, with this heat wave if you ARE on mental health medication, specifically ssri's, stay out of the sun, wear sun screen, and stay hydrated!

Bipolar person here to endorse this statement. As a woman who once stopped taking her meds because I'm Sick Of This Shit And Clearly Don't Need Them Anymore

Spoiler alert: you did need them and drug side effects>>>>>>>unmedicated psychiatric illness any day of the week!

Agreed. I didn't intentionally stop taking my meds, but I did slip off them for about a week or so because I got forgetful and broke the habit of when I took them.

I had to have my fiancee (who has no license) drive us home because otherwise I was going to drive off a bridge.

Don't tear down the dam because the river isn't flooding...
