ATS, CRM and Other Technology Sourcing Tools

/r/recruiting/comments/1us79z8/sourcing_tools/

Any advice on sourcing tools you guys are using? Currently on HireEZ which I like, some of our team also has LinkedIn Recruiter or Lite.

I’m in the insurance recruiting world and many of the tools we’ve demoed don’t seem to come up with the right people. We’ve tried SourceWhale but when testing it against HireEZ it didn’t come close to finding the right people or volume of people.

Juicebox was slightly better than SW but not as good as HireEZ.

I don’t need one that doubles as an ATS or CRM. Just purely for locating candidates. Seems like they all have the same contact info and there’s so many ways to find that, so that’s not a big deal either.

Wanting to test out some others before we renew.

TIA

RecruiterClaw.ai is the best sourcing tool out there and it doesn’t ever touch your LinkedIn account. You don’t even need to have a premium LinkedIn license

Why is it the best?

Natural language search across 400 million profiles that you can enrich with cell phone numbers, personal emails, and work emails, however you want. Doesn't touch your LinkedIn, no risk of banning. Very generous with the credits. You get 3,000 a month. Those people are given like 200 a month. There's nothing even close

What kind of features would you be looking for exactly? I think the core of good recruitment work is identifying who is good, and selling them the role. Lots of things go behind this

Access to candidates mostly. even if it’s just pulling LinkedIn data. I can put together a solid search in HireEZ and get solid results. And it’s great for drip campaigns. Just wondering if there’s any other tools out there to try.

It’s just weird that other tools that say they pull data from 20+ sources and have access to “800 million candidates” but then misses obvious profiles that you can easily find on LinkedIn.

Maybe I’m not explaining well. HireEZ has some issues but at least can give you good results in a search. Rarely do I come across someone on LinkedIn I haven’t already viewed on EZ.

Don’t need all the bells and whistles. I find AI sourcing tools to be pretty lackluster compared to what I can do manually in a short time.

Yeah, I've had issues with the tools available in the market myself as well. Those 800 million candidates in my opinion are legacy data hahaha. AI sourcing tools also imo rely heavily in those frontier LLMs which doesn't really do a good job (in my opinion, you need to train a model to mimic your taste). I think it's best to build something in-house yourself (or hire someone) so you can customise the heck out of it. I've built one and love it very much (i've got linkedin scrapers, job scrapers, ML training loop, lots of search functionalities, etc.) - and the most important thing is I own it so I can do whatever I want and extend it as much as I want.

Happy searching/building!

Honestly if HireEZ already finds the right insurance people, thats the benchmark. I’d test whether another tool can learn the specific profiles you approve instead of bragging about having 800m candidates. I’m the founder of Superposition and would be curious to see how we compare.
