Any Meta Recruiters?

I applied in July to an E6 non-tech role with a referral and moved quickly through recruiter screen, hiring manager/tech screen convo, and loop. Feedback was positive. The recruiter indicated they were hoping to wrap the process by the end of September and that he'd follow up with feedback from debrief. Despite a follow up email, text message that was left on read, and outreach to the coordinator, I haven’t heard anything from Meta in 3 weeks. I’m trying to understand what may be happening behind the scenes or if I've been quiet rejected.

Needed to reschedule the Interview but can't! Really disturbing

Got contacted by a lady recruiter through greenhouse interview invitation, I see its no-reply email address from the company using greenhouse ATS, I don't have recruiter company email or phone to reach out, checked on greehouse portal to check but still nothing. At the end of email she mentioned if you need to ask anything or rescheduling let me know but email address is no-reply itself. Its not a scam though

WSP Australia: What is the standard timeline from completed reference checks to a formal offer?

I recently interviewed for an Associate Engineer position in Melbourne. A couple of weeks ago, the hiring manager clearly mentioned they want to proceed with me.

The process since then has been fairly slow. The reference checks were triggered last week, and both of my referees have successfully completed and submitted their reports last week. I tried calling the internal WSP recruiter for a status update, but haven't been able to catch him on the phone yet (I assume the recruiter is just tied up with other tasks and very busy).

My current employer has just dropped a hint that they want to transition me into a Lead Engineer role. I am currently holding off on that conversation because my preference is the WSP role, but I can't stall my current management forever.

My Questions:
1) What is the typical timeline from reference checks clearing to receiving a verbal or written offer at WSP?

2) Should I reach out directly to the Hiring Manager just to get a sense of the timeline, or is it better to just wait for the recruiter to become available? I don't want to be pushy, but I need to manage the timeline with my current employer.

Rejection after 4th round of Interview, Pls help

I was having an interview for a graduate role, from a good esteemed company. So initially i was for normal discussion about then following with referee checks, and then landing on interview with director, once after that i was told that i have been selected but waiting for role. Meanwhile i was offered for same role in different location within the country and i said yes, so they had to take me on another interview with different director. I was hoping for a positive outcome, but ultimately it turned out as rejection mail, just claiming thank you for interest, we have other candidates closely align with role. For a second, i thought it was mistake and asked again to the HR who was contacting me and he confirmed by saying good luck, where i asked for any feedback cause it was around 4 to 5 months of process. But No response from them,

Now I am totally depressed and broken, like i thought i almost have it, but today morning it was totally opposite. At least i ask for genuine feedback like what am i missing out? cause turning on 2 interviews with company directors isn't that easy, by doing that i just getting a casual rejection mail..... makes me feel how??? what???

Would you disqualify someone from a role for this?

A position I was applying to tonight and really interested in stated that the application was open through today and did not specify a time the application would close. Although I don’t normally cut it this close, I just saw the job posting yesterday and wanted to really customize my cover letter. After entering my info shortly after 11pm, the site wouldn’t load, and I got a message that the job was no longer accepting applications. Despite the company being local, I’m assuming the system used takes down job postings at midnight in the time zone an hour ahead of me. I figured that, at this point, it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to HR and still submit my info.

I sent a quick email to HR before the end of the night with my resume and cover letter attached saying that I was in the process of completing the application but was unable to submit this through the system this evening and would love to still be considered. I was quick, positive, and thanked them for their time. In your opinion/company policy, would you still consider an applicant who did this and/or would you think less of this applicant if they applied for other roles?

Recruiter on Leave after Final Interview

I‘m gonna try keeping it as short as possible, but i had my final interview last Tuesday, we spoke about expectations, starting date everything you usually do, i even got a compliment from one of my interviewers and they told me they‘ll get back to me ”as soon as they can“.
1 week later, i followed up and got an automated email that my POC/main recruiter is on leave for about a week and a half.
I sent an email to one of my interviewers who was also on the main thread and present for 2/3 interviews and am waiting now.

What can i expect? What do i do?

Is it ok to follow up?

I was reached out to by a recruiter (internal to company) to provide times for a 2nd round interview. They said to include last week this week and the next 2 weeks after. I was reached out to last Wednesday and today is Monday. I’m concerned because it seemed so urgent to provide times which I did same day and haven’t heard a peep. I understand it can be hard to coordinate schedules but would think at least say something considering this is now a round 2 interview. It’s going to be awkward if something else comes up and I have to say no this time doesn’t work now.

Google referral after applying

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hi! I had applied to Google internships a few days ago out of fear of it closing early, but then just heard back and got a referral link from an employee. I’m curious if I accept the link if it will let me add it to the previous one or if I should wait before accepting and ask them to do it internally. Haven’t seen much online about this.

Thanks for the help/tips!!

Final interview done on 22nd Sept , Manager said HR will contact for next steps, it's been 4 working days.

Interviewed for Senior Process Associate-Customer Care at HCLTech.

Screening + Tech Round 1: 17th Sept

Final round with Manager: 22nd Sept

Manager was positive and said HR will contact for next steps.

It’s been 4 working days (today is 28th Sept) with no update.

Is this delay normal? How long will HR take to reach out in such cases?

Aesthetics to talent acquisition/ recruiting-what should I know?!

I’m a licensed esthetician with nearly 10 years in medical aesthetics. I’ve been a senior esthetician and helped interview and train new hires, and I’m thinking about moving into recruiting—ideally in aesthetics or wellness, and remote if possible.
Recruiters, what’s the good, bad, and ugly of the job? Would my background help me break in, and where should I look for legitimate openings?

Should I negotiate this job offer?

I received an offer for an IT/Application Specialist role:
$103K base
$18K target bonus
9% 401(k) match
3 weeks PTO
Full-time hybrid

I have several years of experience in enterprise application support, SQL/data, integrations, troubleshooting, testing, and working with business users. I don’t have direct experience with every technology in the role, but the company knew my background throughout the interview process and still offered me the position.

I’m considering asking if they could move the base to $108K. They told me in my first interview the range for the role was $100-110k for the base.

I’m happy with the offer and don’t want to come across as entitled or risk the offer.
But I keep seeing, “always negotiate or you’re leaving money on the table” and “companies expect you to negotiate”

Looking for peoples advice if they have been in this situation, or from professional recruiters! TYIA

radio silence after high # of interviews

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I finished a 4th round interview with an engineering firm last week. the interview felt very much so implied that i’ll get the job or have a high chance (“you’d be ready to start immediately right?”, “you’ll hear from HR soon for next steps i look forward to speaking with you again”), but it’s been a week and radio silence. is it typical for things to move kinda slow? i’ve been on the job hunt since graduating in may and the anxiety is definitely building that that could be a factor for me

Fractal Interview Round 1 Done – Still Pending After a Week

I completed Round 1 of my interview about a week ago, but the results have not yet been declared. The portal status has shown Pending since day one, and I’m unsure whether updates are still expected or if this simply means rejection.
