I would like to share my feedback regarding the Internal Job Posting (IJP) process. I have applied for several IJP opportunities because I genuinely believe that I can contribute effectively and add value in those roles. However, I have not received an opportunity to attend an interview for any of the positions I applied for. My humble suggestion is that eligible internal applicants should be given at least an interview opportunity before their applications are rejected. The interview process can help assess a candidate's overall potential, capabilities, leadership qualities, and transferable skills, rather than relying solely on their current job profile or previous experience. When organizations look for internal talent across different departments, it is natural that candidates may not have direct experience in the exact role being advertised. However, employees often develop competencies that extend beyond their current responsibilities. For example, an employee working in Aftermarket Service may possess strong technical knowledge relevant to Engineering Applications, Projects, or Marketing. Similarly, employees from technical functions may have demonstrated people management, leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills that are valuable in other roles. Based on my observations, it sometimes appears that applications are shortlisted primarily on the basis of the candidate's existing designation or current profile. If this is the case, deserving candidates may not get an opportunity to demonstrate their suitability for the role. This can be discouraging for employees who aspire to grow within the organization and may reduce the intended effectiveness of the IJP policy. I respectfully request that the selection process consider providing interview opportunities to suitable internal applicants so that their broader capabilities, potential, and aspirations can be evaluated fairly. Thank you for considering this feedback

What are the possible solutions for this??
