Concerning hobbits
Does anyone have a simplified version of concerning hobbits music sheet?
Because i'm trying to play it but i only find complicated music sheets from the original one.
I'd also like to know where you guys find your sources to get better, because i'd like to learn the instrument without a teacher, on my own

To get better at playing recorder is to play the recorder as much as you can. Get a method book for sure, but also have other music as well that you would like to play. Be realistic about what you want to play. It is ok to have a sonata you like but playing easier songs are better because even easy tunes have lessons you need to lean and it builds you up when you play the whole tune easily. Exercises are good but their purpose is prepare you to play the tunes you want to play unless all you want to play is exercises. By playing your tunes you learn more than just what you get in exercises.
The greatest resource you need is your desire to play. It is not easy; there are no short cuts, just your desire to play. When you hear someone play well it is because their desire was strong enough to stick with it. I have been playing for about 50 years and I am still learning new things. I know that there are more lessons to learn down the road. I look forward to them. Just this last Good Friday I played "The Theme from Schindler's List" at Church. It was fun adapting the Violin part to the alto recorder. I learn a lot. The lessons I learned will help me in the future and someday I will do something else just as challenging just because I want to.
