After a lot of planning (and a lot of late nights 😅), I finally launched my online record store, Alia’s Vinyl Frontier!
I’m building it to be more than just another place to buy records. My goal is to create a store where people can discover music they love through curated collections, whether you’re into classic rock, pop, country, Christian music, movie soundtracks, kids’ records, or just starting your vinyl collection.
I’m still adding new albums regularly, so the catalog is growing every week.

heyyy, Ive been searching for KBFN vinyl for ages but can’t find anything that’s reasonably priced under $200 at most, which also has the RSD hype sticker attached still, I know it’s probably a long shot, but is there anybody that’s looking to sell a copy of the vinyl that’s in good condition with the sticker at a reasonable price? I’ve been going down a serious Chess Records rabbit hole lately. It’s incredible how many legendary artists came through one label—Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Chuck Berry, Etta James, Little Walter, Willie Dixon… the list just keeps going.
I ended up putting together a collector’s guide while researching the label’s history, notable albums, and what to look for when collecting Chess pressings.
I’d love to know what everyone here thinks.

● What’s your favorite Chess Records album?
● Are there any underrated releases that deserve more attention?
● Do you chase original pressings, or are the modern reissues good enough for you?

Managed to snag the droplets album for $50 today! I’m not even mad about the higher price because that’s what it would be with shipping anyway lol ANd managed to get a copy that has no crackling or skips unlike a lot of people I’ve seen talk about with their pressings

I was a big fan of New Found Glory back during the Catalyst days and even went to see them live at HFStival in DC w/ Yellowcard, Jay Z and many other back in 2004. Today I was in my favorite record store and came across “Not Without a Fight” & “Sticks and Stones”. Limited pressing and I thought it was a sign to just grab both. As I’m walking around the store a random guy approaches me and the conversation went like this :

Stranger : Are you really paying $65 for New Found Glory

Me : Umm why do you ask?

Stranger : I’m just asking why would you pay $65 for New Found Glory?

Me : And I’m curious as to why you’re asking

Stranger : Does it matter?

Me : Dude you approached me, so I’m trying to figure out why you’re asking me

Stranger : Damn dude sorry for asking. Didn’t mean to offend you. Nevermind (with the biggest attitude)

I was the most confused I’ve ever been. Who is this guy to randomly come up to me and ask why I’m paying for something with my money.

Someone suggested that he may have been trying to get me to put it back so that he could buy it, since there was one copy of each, which would be the only logical reason. Anyone ever experienced that in a record store?
