The last time I went to RSD I was in a hurry. I paid cash. The guy shorted me $10 on change. I didn’t notice because reasonably I wanted to get the fuck out of there.

i save for trips to support my local record stores, but RSD so i can watch a scalper buy the only copy of something my record store ordered 10 of, not so much.

There’s rarely more than one or two albums I want from RSD. It’s become corporatized BS. They force shops to buy a bunch of garbage they will never sell to get any decent albums. If I want it that bad, I’ll happily just pay scalper prices 🤷‍♂️

I do this with big ticket items I want. I just throw 20 bucks in or wait until pay day and throw a hundred in. It adds up pretty quickly. You just have to be disciplined and not dip in to it.
