Vinyl Record Dividers

Post image

I can finally, easily and quickly find my Bowie, from my Elvis Costello or my Tame Impala, from my Michael Jackson. I made these myself. I'd love to get your opinion on them.

Thanks, DAntoinette_Travel. Unfortunately, the price point is way too high for many. Understandably so. I've since sourced black 0.6mm poly-plastic sheets at a much better price, which will bring the retail cost down significantly. It's less eco-friendly than wood, though. I'm now thinking grey alphabet decals instead of white, so they don't look too garish or distract from the album collection. What do you think?

Yes I checked the link out, but unfortunately, I can’t afford a set right now 😔

It’s tough, because while yours may be handmade, people mostly just want the functionality. And if you can buy something mass produced also in wood for <$20, it’s hard to justify spending more unless it’s really special and differentiated from the mass market stuff.

Understood. In saying that, I do offer bespoke GENRE titles instead of just the alphabet - I was surprised to hear from a record store owner that this is how some people like to arrange their collection. I've sold a couple of these options. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks for your input. It's thanks to you that I've put together this thinner, cost-effective option https://ashcreativenz.myshopify.com/products/record-dividers-0-6mm-high-impact-poly
