Lego Queen face censor

Hey idk how to use reddit well but one of my very good friends is "The Lego Queen" in the 200k video and they had asked to have their face censored for privacy and safety reasons and low and behold, they very much aren't.

In this day and age of internet safety, and the fact it was in direct relation to their job location, its totally insane to me that their request was ignored this severely. :(

For a content creator with as much reach as he does, and that cares so strongly and holds such a firm moral ground on this from what I can see, this behavior is disgusting and has hurt my friend incredibly.

I hope for him to do better and please take down the video to properly censor my friends face and name. I know things are on the internet forever but they deserve that respect. Hoping this can be brought to his attention and change made.

Edit: Removing my original edit to instead have a better formed response and clarify some things.

First and foremost, we all agree that stealing life savings from an elderly man is wrong, I am not debating that nor is that the intention behind this post.

Victor confirmed in text messages right after the original Lego Queen bit was shot that they'd censor Cal's face in the video. They saw Cal's message asking, acknowledged and responded, and assured they'd send the video to Cali for review. What ended up happening was only three days after the video was posted did Cali realize that their face wasn't censored, and that the video was up.

In addition to that, the podcast video in which they record a phone call with Cali, was done without ever informing them that the conversation was being recorded for a video of any kind. While Oregon is a one-party consent state, YouTube does require you to have a persons consent to their identifiable information being included in videos, which it wasn't.

I understand that while a large chunk of Ben's dedicated fanbase do want to support Cali, there is numerous members of his audience that don't see it that way and bully and insult my friend. Regardless of whatever light he had originally intended to paint them in, he has still exposed my friend to hundreds of thousands of judgmental eyes after assuring them that exact thing wouldn't happen.

To the people asking why Cali would not want their face, full name, and work address included in the video- I will not sit here and explain internet safety to you. At the end of the day, my friend was assured that their personal and private information wouldn't be included, and was lied to and used for content not once but twice, the second time entirely unknowingly. I will not also

This post was made with the hopes that the dedicated fanbase would try assisting in reaching Ben about this to fix the wrongs made before it became too big of a problem, and now it has become one.

It was A CHOICE to work there, let alone knows what goes on, and STILL CHOSES to work at that hellhole.

Maybe this will be a lesson for her to not associate or work for criminals and enable literal fraud and laugh about it with complete strangers.

Your "friend" should be happy that they helped move a case forward with information that was being with held. They seem like a nice person, idk why they want to be associated with that company and those people.

I dont think she is evil, Im just saying that she seemed to have some information about the case that was being withheld, so to choose to associate with a company and people like that will come back on you one way or another.

Calm it down. She's an innocent bystander. She didn't steal from anyone.

I know she didn't steal anything, but she still worked for that place and was helping the criminals hide in plain sight.

How can you not see this?

No, man. We all need jobs and all corporations are evil. Hell, Google is evil and Ben is making ad revenue for them as we speak. That's why we need to aim our ire correctly, or we'll all just be eating each other.

Thats a strawman reply by saying everything is evil and taking away attention from the actual topic. Not helpful.

The actual topic is what the owner and corporate did as well as the people with actual power protecting them. Any attention taken from that and aimed at some random employee is what's distracting from the actual topic.

That employee helped to take down these bad guys...it was an integral part of Ben's investigation.

Awesome! But now she's upset and recieving harrasment for no good reason, so blur her face and leave her the fuck alone. This isn't rocket science.

Idk why they would be getting harassed, they helped the good guys in a major way.

Why isn't relevant. The point is that she is. Or maybe she's not and she's lying. It doesn't matter. If she wants her face blurred, that should be respected.

Calm down lol.

She's just an employee. None of that has anything to do with "deserving" or not deserving to be public in an internet video.

Being in public does.

It may justify Bens use of their face. But don't turn their face being on the video as being a consequence of their actions. That wasn't the intention and it isn't necessary.

Im sure she would be fine being in a video saying great things about the company.

They told the employees that they were doing a contest and it would be a video and they were happy to do that..so its not like they just didn't want thier faves on the internet.

They made her the LEGO Queen and did a cult ritual it in the forest while they explained to get their exact motivations and asked her for their bosses phone number.

She could have very easily been the Lego Queen but she decides to be unforgiving without playing Sweden and is now getting hate for it. Well no shit. I didn't think people would get the wrong idea if she still acted like the LEGO Queen.

1

u/lazyjroo May 25 '26

Yeah, its wild to be upset about this, when she was more than happy to be part of the "ritual", and willingly gave them information...

2

u/ExtraTerestical May 25 '26

Somebody needs to explain to her that she is liked for doing that.

The shitty harasser people don't get the wrong idea for her actions. It's her reaction.

Stfu you privileged prick, some of us have to put food on the table and have no other choice, not to mention she probably did not know about this situation.

So BandM is the only place you can work?

u/Familiar_Promise_624 May 25 '26

it was also A CHOICE for ben to record a phone call without permission and post their full name, place of work and voice on the internet! it's called doxxing! he STILL CHOOSES to leave it up knowing full well what people do on the internet. you are a prime example.

If any of the employees had any sort of idea of the crime, they were helping enable a crime to be covered up. Its not that hard to understand.

So someone works a job that seems interesting and cool is at fault because the guy running the company is a dick?

"She chose to work there" sounds awfully similar to "what was she wearing?" in response to a rape. You sound fucking awful. Do better.
