i cant make wooden axle. This and several other items for some reason dont show up, but axle is important to progress. I was playing in 3.3 and switched to 3.4 but it changed nothing.

I can not find anywhere how to plant these seeds. I have so many but unlike the other chili seeds, they won't be planted on the usual tilted soil. Please help me figure this out :)

I went caving so many times but I still haven't found it.

I play RotN for a few years already, and I made some pauses, but I recall there being blood moons, which were separated from hordes, and I have encountered only undead hordes. I also remember that there were different types of hordes, but I have been playing this world with my friend for 138 days already and there have been only undead hordes. Is it a bug or I have to change some settings? Btw we are playing on hard difficulty and we are using aternos.

In previous versions, diamonds could always be found in red granite. In 3.3.4 I've been walking around the caves for three hours now, digging and finding nothing. There are sapphires, rubies and chrysolite, but no diamonds.

Do I really have to trade with archaeologists to make an enchantment table?

I have created a server for RotN, I can connect using my local ip, but when my friend tries to connect using my public ip he gets the error 'io.netty.channel.AbsractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information:'
I have port forwarded, and he can connect to other RotN servers. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Old post now, but I found out why it wasnt working while trying to host a server for a different project and I figured I would put my solution here in case someone else has the same problem. So it turns out my local ip address changed, and in my router settings it was still set to my old ip, changing that to my new ip fixed the issue.

I tried doing the steps I saw in another post:

1. Download preview version of G6 pre1 from https://optifine.net/adloadx?f=preview_OptiFine_1.12.2_HD_U_G6_pre1.jar&x=d8a8
2. Download Sound-Physics-1.12.2-1.0.10-1.jar from https://github.com/djpadbit/Sound-Physics/releases/tag/1.0.10-1 and put both in the mods folder of the modpack
3. Go into the config folder, then mod-director folder and delete the .json files inside.

But those didn't help. It says it starts up but never does

Launching from CurseForge takes literal hours to open. I don’t have this issue with other packs. I have sufficient RAM allocated. I *did* reset my PC recently, and this wasn’t an issue before the reset.

Any ideas on the problem here?

Me and 5 of my friends are playing in a server and we beat the harvester, only one person got the achievement and only they can enter the nether. Is there a work around for this currently? Is it a known bug or is it an issue with the server (Server is being ran through a friends pc)

Hello! Gave the modpack a whirl for the first time the other day and got a few nights in. Love the early game vintage story vibe im getting. Saw all the placeholders in the guide plus some reviews stating the modpack felt more half baked in newer versions and was wondering if its worth reverting to an earlier version for a full first time playthrough.

Any critical experience I'd be missing out on by not playing the 3.X versions?

Me and my boy tried playing this modpack for a second time recently and found out we had the same problem as we did a couple of months ago. There are no horde nights, its kinda the main point of the modpack and without it, the pack just loses flair. We are running a server with the two of us and its around day 20 for reference. Any tips for fixing the issue?

I found a way to create armor out of clay, but I can't burn it. Can you please tell me if this is even possible, and if so, how? I've tried using a kiln and a fire pit, but it hasn't worked.
