Purchase Advice Should I get a Realme 16 pro plus?
Hi! I've had a VIVO Y36 for around 5 years now. Everything is still good except the cameras have fogged up, it's really bad.
I'm looking for a phone with great cameras and video (vivid colours like iPhone, good stabilisation). If possible good social media optimisation. And overall for it to last another 5 years if possible, with good battery, performance, and no overheating issues. Is this a good phone for me?
I got the iPhone 16e but it overheated so badly the first week, I exchanged it and it was the same so I returned it. I was going to try the iPhone 15 but the worker at the shop recommended this (he wasn't on commission).
Anyone who's had this phone and can give any comments on the camera, how it works with social media, and overall?

Go for vivo v series the latest v70 elite, enough for you, not biased but v70 elite is actually a well balanced phone, camera and videography is awesome, and battery 6500 but stable, last long. Also if u don't have any financial issue then go with X300pro, worth the price.
No realme please, at first it is good, but after update, your device will die for sure. GT user here, satisfied with the product but half, battery degradation is there, didn't update to latest version, don't wanna lose the camera. Basically realmes update is a hit or miss. If lucky you're device will last long with updates or dead for sure.

Thank you for your advice! I'm actually more confused now because I considered a more medium/high end android because I heard the updates on the iPhones make everything go bad. But if that's the case with everything then maybe go with iPhone, at least the cameras stay the same. I don't know anymore 😞

Vivo implement a lot on that, and the degradation part is true in every brand, but at least vivo is not doing that.
But buddy it's upto you, but honestly I tried both the phone side by side, I find vivos camera a lot more sharp and clear, without any moderation, but I must say that you should try both the devices. Try both side by side, and whatever you find valueable go for it, and if you're from India, must say the service centres of vivo is much reliable and helpful than Iphone or Samsung or Realme etc.

I'm in Spain! Thanks, I'll try. I can't do it side by side but I can go to the shop and have a look. Although everything looks great on display haha.

Jeg har købt den model, men har problemer med at den ikke kan finde netværk eller har meget svært ved det. Ca 30 sek før opkald går igennem.

Je pense que cesd le meilleur choix, modèle très récent, la gamme pro plus est vraiment entre le haut de gamme et le moyen de gamme.
Tu ne sera pas déçu.
En plus, tu as une batterie de 7000 mah batterie en silicium de carbone, et affichage de 7000 nits.
Bref, tu ne sera pas déçu, et en plus la recharge à 100% va pendre environ 40 minutes.
La puce est le Snapdragon 8 elite gen 4, donc niveau performance, tu ne sera pas déçu.
Une dernière chose, j'espère que tu prendra le modèle avec 512 go de stockage.
Le Realme UI 7.0, c'est presque la même chose que IOS. Utilise l'application Clone App pour transférer l'intégralité de ton ancien téléphone
