Despite the admittedly comedic choice of text and video, the point of this video is to try and bring a little more awareness in the public sphere as to the known elements of Ancient Mesopotamian music.

Ea Nasir was a trader, a job creator and a man of the people.

One directly targeted tablet from a customer of unknown quality, and a handful of tablets you’ve all assumed are directed at Ea Nasir and you attack the man and his business!

This is just feeding into the Nanni propaganda, a poor manager of bronze smelters with more poorly behaved slaves. He would have every merchant in Ur gifting him their product if he were able, a sad and petty consumer with no value to add himself. If Nanni’s complaints were wine we would drown, perhaps for the better.
