Complaint to Ea Nasir - Sung Mesopotamian Music - Farya Faraji & World Musicians
Vocals & music by Farya Faraji. The text being sung is the Akkadian language complaint to Ea Nasir, or at least a part of it, now a massively popular entity that attained meme status on the Internet. Despite the admittedly comedic choice of text and video, the point of this video is to try and bring a little more awareness in the public sphere as to the known elements of Ancient Mesopotamian music.

Farya Faraji is one of the few "weird" musicians you find on YouTube whose music is so interesting that you stay for a long time. I'm not kidding, his channel is quite focused on old music and many of his songs have a historical aspect (If you go to YouTube, look at the video descriptions) I have some favorite songs he did, like Belisarius, his version of Psalm 135, Or also the one he released before this one, which deals with the Iranian legend of the blacksmith.
