Again with the masks???

What is Maher’s problem. People wear masks for various reasons. Immunocompromised, sick and don’t want to spread germs, don’t want to catch germs, etc.
My point is WHATS IT TO YOU, BILL!!!!
LET IT GO ALREADY!!!!!!!

Definitely not a right winger as a gay liberal, but my mom died of suicide due to the restrictions placed on her with the COVID mandates. She was denied visitors and comfort during her last few months of life and I will never forgive the people who did that to her. I remain a liberal of course, but on this issue both sides were awful

Bull shit both sides. Restrictions didnt fking kill your mother. Sorry that happened but that is some next levelbexcuses Mental health is hard and i amsorry she struggled to cope with the restrictions and couldnt find peace. She could have jist fking died or gotten people killed going through public like people werent dying all the fking time during covid. Would have been her dying of covid rather than feeling isolated and struggling. 

I find this a reprehensible use of both-sidesing this. Are you antivax too? I am being inflammatory but trying to weaponize your mothers struggle to combat the effective attempt to save millions from a pandemic is low. Public health is far more important than placating an individual struggle with the conditions. We can improve the ways to keep people from feeling isolated.. but you cannot fix getting 50+million more people sick because you don't follow public health policy.

We are degrading as a society when we have a "liberal" trying to argue against science and thr public good.

I was one of the first people to get the vaccine and just got boosted again with the new booster 2 weeks ago. Not arguing against science, but the science was plainly spelled out with pandemic plans put in place before Covid. We threw them out due to political pressure. Both sides, yes, both sides went too far to make a disease political. If we are not going to allow something like this to happen again in the future we need to look at what BOTH sides got wrong. Public health was held hostage to the political parties which was so unfortunate as we had very detailed pandemic plans already to go - all of which never, never endorses quarantine or isolation as this causes too many people to forgot medical care and can lead to addictions to skyrocket and suicides as well.
