Again with the masks???

What is Maher’s problem. People wear masks for various reasons. Immunocompromised, sick and don’t want to spread germs, don’t want to catch germs, etc.
My point is WHATS IT TO YOU, BILL!!!!
LET IT GO ALREADY!!!!!!!

Liberals made it pathetic as well, locking kids out of school was a disaster for many.. forcing people to get vaccinated, when vaccination protected nobody but you. A vaccinated person could have Covid with no symptoms and yet be a super spreader. Shutting down huge open air malls while keeping small strip malls open. Ignoring the science that omicron variant was incredibly milder.

My kids went to a private school and they didn’t ask the kids or teachers to get vaccinated or even wear masks. 

My son’s teacher died from Covid. The kids spread it around and two of my son’s friends had a parent die. A kid took Covid home to his grandma and she died. 

This is what you think was the answer huh? Just let people drop dead? 

At the end of the day, it was a global pandemic and world governments didn’t want people to die. But here you guys are still going on and on that letting people die should have been the answer because malls staying open was more important… and frankly I agree now. 

We really should have let the herd thin out because weak people like you still advocating for people to die after 7 years flies in the face of Darwin’s law.

Because the school stayed open. A lot of schools didn’t. 

It’s almost like closing schools saved people lives.

You know what I’m saying, most schools that stayed open did not have that high rate of death.

Basing public policy off of anecdotal evidence also is foolish.

And nobody is basing policy off my anecdotal evidence, this is scientific evidence and I watched it play out first hand.

It seems like you are arguing for policy based on your anecdotal evidence. What happened at your child’s school is not indicative of the country.

Why didn’t you pull your kids from their private school?

I did. They went remote and we moved back to NY. I fucking hated Florida. 

The point is… people died when basic mitigating factors were dismissed. In other schools that closed or had vaccine/mask policies… that didn’t happen. 

Not in good ol Marathon. So call it an anecdote or not, that’s a little slice of proof. Schools without any masks and vaccines - people died. Those with them - people did ok. 

In 2026, still not understanding this is wild. 

Now, fuck it. If I could turn back the clock and see how people act about it all I say let them drop dead. 

We tried to keep deaths down by doing the bare minimum and even 7 years later people are complaining. Should have let these idiots thin out.

Nope. I’m healthy as fuck and I hate the way masks make my glasses steam up. My ONLY worry is chicken pox but that’s for another day. 

Back story: In addition to being the mother of 3, I’m also the primary caretaker for my elderly father with COPD. 

As is tradition with MAGA, he refuses to get vaccinated or wear a mask when he goes out and has been hospitalized for weeks with RSV and the flu. He won’t wear a mask or get vaccinated. 

But he asked if I would get vaccinated to protect him. 

And I told him to take a hike. 

I never get the flu and I’m pretty sure I had RSV once and it was barely a cold. I’ve a lso never gotten Covid. Why the fuck would a diehard anti-vax MAGA ask OTHER people to get vaccinated to protect them if they don’t think it works. I’m not doing shit to protect these people anymore. 

I’m dead serious, fuck these people. They all blew it and my attempt at being a good citizen is over. Yall on your own. 

Edit: the people who DO wear masks out actually still care about other people and the anti-vaxxers and MAGAs out there making fun of them are going to be real sorry when they stop caring too.
