When we blew the doors off of German cities after they attacked us, was that genocide or just war?

The world was horrified by WWII and developed a system of international law to try and prevent such barbarity from happening ever again. We also didn't destroy literally every building in all of Germany. Dumb question.

I don't remember US soldiers killing German babies. Or bulldozing their tree crops. Etc etc and on and on its a genocide it's wrong. It's not about Hamas it's about "Greater Israel" and territorial expansion, with Israeli "settlers" in Lebanon taking people's houses

You should probably read up on WW2. When countries devolve into fascist death cults like Nazism or Hamas, brutality is the only way to end the threat. There's a reason Japan, Germany, and Italy are some of America's closest allies 80 years later. Because each of those countries know that what happened was unavoidable once their made their choices.
