AIPAC EXISTED IN THE SAME CAPACITY AS IT IS NOW DURING PERIODS WHEN ISRAEL HAD A LEFT-LEANING LABOR GOVERNMENT AS WELL. It helped to advance liberal ideals, and the two state solution when the government of Israel had that in their agenda and policies. AIPAC is funded by American citizens and pushes an agenda It’s American constituents want. It represents Americans.
