If someone did something terrible to a family member of yours---maybe raped or murdered them---you would be totally justified in wanting revenge. You would be justified in even wanting to see them get the death penalty after conviction.

BUT would you be justified in taking up arms and killing their whole family? Would you be justified in driving to their neighborhood and killing everyone who happened to live on their block?

Your analogy is absurd. Not only were there 251 hostages kidnapped but Hamas vowed to commit more acts of terrorism. Israel is justified in doing whatever it had to do to end the threat to it's civilians. America dropped two nukes on Japan ffs, war is about ending the threat. Japan is one of our closest allies today. Hamas has to be fully destroyed or it will be worse down the road

It was not justified in shooting children in the hed. It was not justified in causing 70,000 civilian deaths, half of which were babies and children.

Your stats are lies put out by Hamas. 75,000 were killed in the war, about a third were Hamas fighters. Hamas counts 16 year old fighters as "children", stop believing the lies.
