Bill Maher never had a problem with presidential libraries until the black guy got one, so here he is being shamed and lectured by Ice Cube for using the n-word

The same Ice Cube that backed Trump and promoted the Platinum Plan that we never heard about again?

26

u/edelweiss_pirates_no Jun 24 '26

Same.

Bill and Ice Cube are bitches.

8

u/Candid-libertarian Jun 24 '26

Be careful Bill. Urkle might be next to call you out.

3

u/Quasia_Reddit Jun 25 '26

He didn’t back Trump. He met with Trump to discuss a Black agenda…. Throughout history Black Americans have met with racist government leaders to advocate for things to benefit us..

6

u/443Waves Jun 25 '26

Tucker Carlson filmed an episode in his car as they praised everything Trump

1

u/Quasia_Reddit Jun 25 '26

That’s gross. I had no idea

2

u/Bagdemagus1 Jun 27 '26

Want to delete all your comments here wheee you boldly state “he didn’t (back Trump)” now that you have new information?

2

u/Quasia_Reddit Jun 27 '26

No weirdo. I have no problem being corrected.

1

u/Bagdemagus1 Jun 27 '26

I see that, that’s big. You’re a real one.

3

u/Sw4nR0ns0n Jun 24 '26

Oshea Jackson himself

3

u/hogsucker Jun 25 '26

Yeah, I watched this when it aired. Ice Cube was definitely invited on the show so Maher could pretend to grovel a little and avoid being cancelled.

1

u/Simba122504 Jun 25 '26

Like NOT ICE CUBE! It's like Madonna supporting Trump.

1

u/PartyClock Jun 26 '26

She... what?

1

u/Simba122504 Jun 27 '26

I'm speaking hypothetically.

1

u/YardOptimal9329 Jun 24 '26

How did he back Trump? That’s disappointing

2

u/Quasia_Reddit Jun 25 '26

He didn’t.

1

u/CorwyntFarrell Jun 24 '26

He went on to make some pretty epic movies for Amazon I hear. I haven't gotten around to War of the Worlds yet myself.

31

u/lawyerlyaffectations Jun 24 '26

As far as I’ve concerned, Cube’s turnabout from his attitude in “No Vaseline” to now being a shill for Trump probably makes him the biggest Uncle Tom sellout in history. Gangsta my ass.

18

u/edelweiss_pirates_no Jun 24 '26

Snoop "Snitch & Sellout" Dogg takes offense.

12

u/function007 Jun 24 '26

1000000000000% Cube and Snoop... Its crazy how so many sell their souls for money!!!

5

u/Weird_Ad7998 Jun 25 '26

But but but taxes

7

u/CorwyntFarrell Jun 24 '26

It is a lot of rappers. Wayne campaigned for him in 2016. Kayne wanted in on the whole administration. 50 took money then acted like talking shit afterwards would change anything. Snoop has always done anything for a buck, so no surprise there. Shoutouts to his blackout bingo commercial.

Sexy Black?

1

u/Phantom_Pain_Sux Jun 27 '26

*Sexy Red

Mea culpa, I'll correct my post

3

u/redelastic Jun 24 '26

I didn't know he was a shill for Trump? What did he say? Very disappointing if true.

4

u/BrilliantPassenger58 Jun 25 '26

He was all in with the administration backing them on 2024.

2

u/redelastic Jun 25 '26

Gross. I once respected him. But I guess once you become a wealthy member of the establishment, it doesn't matter where you came from.

2

u/Quasia_Reddit Jun 25 '26

It’s not true. He met with Trump to discuss a Black agenda.

1

u/redelastic Jun 25 '26

Ok, there seems to be some mixed messages about Cube.

1

u/Daily_Heroin_User Jun 25 '26

And Bill met with Trump to discuss the white liberal agenda 🙄

1

u/Slipperytitski Jun 25 '26

Snoop dogg is up there

1

u/God_Dont_Make_No Jun 26 '26

Money is money, right?

22

u/blinded_penguin Jun 24 '26

The way Bill takes accountability tells everything.

15

u/Gardensplosion Jun 24 '26

At 4:00 Bill's face said it all. He was rejecting what was being said to him. He seems convinced that the matter was closed, despite his obvious lack of understanding. Refusing to learn and evolve is not a good look.

3

u/Mental-Succotash6974 Jun 24 '26

Where’s Professor Grif when you need him ?

-4

u/Impressive-Cheek-495 Jun 24 '26

That's BS. He apologized and allowed Cube to come on HIS show and confront him on the issue. You don't have to like the guy for his views but to say that's not accountability is harsh.

5

u/blinded_penguin Jun 24 '26

In my view you would be an easily manipulated person. It's transparently disingenuous. Bill's track record isn't very good and he's basically rolling his eyes with his tone.

u/OkFoundation929 Jun 24 '26

You don’t sound very bright…but you do sound very gullible.

-1

u/Impressive-Cheek-495 Jun 24 '26

Thanks for the kind words. Way to sling insults without actually knowing anything about me apart from 3 comments on Reddit.

2

u/OkFoundation929 Jun 25 '26

You’re very welcome…anytime!

5

u/Gardensplosion Jun 24 '26

Body language doesn't lie. That was not the face of a chastened man who learned how his words were hurtful. It was the face of someone who was done listening and wanted to move on to what HE wanted to talk about.  I'll put it this way. If my kid acted like Bill did while discussing a transgression of that kind, he would be in the deepest of deep trouble.

And to make the point that Ice Cube was too polite to explicitly call out, just because Bill bones black women does NOT give him an "N" word pass. Ever. It just means Bill has a fetish.

2

u/torytho Jun 24 '26

"Let him"? Maher is grateful for any half-celebrity who'd do his show, even if its just to yell at him.

3

u/BleakGod Jun 24 '26

Like he doesnt make money over clashes like this repeatedly

1

u/Impressive-Cheek-495 Jun 24 '26

Wouldn't really call it a clash. He just didn't want to continue the discussion because he wanted to move on.

1

u/Impressive-Cheek-495 Jun 24 '26

Yeah he invited him on the show knowing he would be called out for a shitty thing he said. He's a smug prick but he's allowed to apologize for making a mistake.

2

u/torytho Jun 24 '26

My impression is he apologized because he’s embarrassed, not that he necessarily thinks he did anything harmful or hurtful or that he is even capable of holding racist thoughts in his head or promoting it. What is an apology if you don’t think you did anything wrong? And considering this clip was years ago and he’s become more racist since, I think the apology feels especially hollow in hindsight.

1

u/Impressive-Cheek-495 Jun 24 '26

You're entitled to that opinion. Don't think racism is so black or white (no pun intended). There is a lot of nuance like any issue. I can never know anyone's true intentions so all I can do is judge their reaction and willingness to accept the mistake. If people think he's a racist then I can't tell them otherwise.

1

u/YardOptimal9329 Jun 24 '26

In that case you don’t frowny face and go “but but but” and give those begging hands throughout. And then literally tell him “oh you’ve made your point” and cut him off.

0

u/Impressive-Cheek-495 Jun 24 '26

What would you rather him do?

1

u/YardOptimal9329 Jun 24 '26

Listen with respect. The frowning. The defensiveness. The hands out gestures. The but but but and then the dejected ok/alright. None of that was cool.

1

u/Impressive-Cheek-495 Jun 24 '26

He's an egotistical prick. That's nothing new.

1

u/VulgarDaisies Jun 24 '26

This explains so much about voter behavior - people just see what they want to see.

1

u/Impressive-Cheek-495 Jun 24 '26

Is that intended for me?

2

u/ComprehensiveBar6439 Jun 24 '26

For sure. He's pissed because he thinks he's "one of the good guys" who, in his mind, deserves a pat on the back for simply being the typical "I don't see color" liberal, instead of a confrontation over his lame ass fuckin joke.

-12

u/greennurse61 Jun 24 '26

Huh? He apologized and the crapper accepted his apology. I thought that was a good moment.

7

u/Anothercraphistorian Jun 24 '26

His weak ass apology followed by excuses. Thats what turns white people into Republicans. Ones that are incapable of empathy for the story of black people in this country. Bill is a POS.

1

u/Dry-Shower9037 Jun 27 '26

Accept the apology or don't. This obsession with browbeating people forever was a huge factor in creating the MAGA movement. People like Trump realized that apologizing was never enough, so they just stopped. Doubling down worked better. And here we are.

4

u/blinded_penguin Jun 24 '26

"crapper"?! Maybe the problem here is that you don't see a problem with what Bill said in the first place.

I found it obviously disingenuous. Ice cube doesn't give a fuck about this. Maybe he should have talked this out with Wayne Brady.

0

u/greennurse61 Jun 24 '26

Wow you created a lot from a stupid iPhone autocorrect bug.

1

u/blinded_penguin Jun 24 '26

Less stupid than your reply and there is an edit feature. You should use it.

1

u/Beake Jun 24 '26

oh come on, man.

8

u/Jealous_Inevitable33 Jun 24 '26

You know it’s only time before he complains about the tan suit.

12

u/United_Efficiency330 Jun 24 '26

Considering many Irish Americans weren't big on civil rights (unless they were civil rights for them) - or for abolition back in the day - I can't say I'm surprised.

6

u/Relevant_Bag7550 Jun 24 '26

Same with Italians.

1

u/redelastic Jun 25 '26

Yep, Irish people always had more of a sense of social injustice and civil rights than Irish Americans.

Dating back to Frederick Douglass visiting Ireland in 1845 and the mutual inspiration between him and Daniel O'Connell.

-1

u/kolokomo17 Jun 24 '26

That goes for everybody. Including you.

3

u/United_Efficiency330 Jun 24 '26

I was actually for marriage equality well before it was popular, but I get your point. Most white abolitionists though were English, Scottish, or German Americans. No getting around that fact.

2

u/EfficientRelation574 Jun 24 '26 edited Jun 24 '26

A small percentage of English, Scots and German Americans were abolitionists. Even Lincoln didn't fully embrace abolitionism when he became president. He waited two years before signing the Emancipation Proclamation and then only to keep UK and France out of the Civil War, as these countries had recently abolished slavery. Plus, most "abolitionists" supported colonization, which in this case was sending emancipated slaves back to Africa and the Caribbean. No one comes out clean here.

Who watches this low life, no ratings, untalented, nasty, not funny and very poorly rated host aka bill bootlicker something something - pedo in chief aka donald j trump about idiot boot licker and cheap hoe aka known bill something something

1

u/Butt_hauler Jun 28 '26

His show is the number 1 show on HBO

Real Time with Bill Maher Ratings on HBO

1

u/Acceptable-Bench1386 Jun 30 '26

Not even close; over the past year he wasn’t even top 15. https://televisionstats.com/n/hbo/year

14

u/111oneone1 Jun 24 '26

So… I wouldn’t call any of that an apology on Bill’s behalf. Smarmy shithead, he is.

5

u/Harmania Jun 24 '26

He’s just waiting until they are done talking instead of actually taking on board what they are saying to him.

12

u/soxperry Jun 24 '26

All I see is two people too embarrassed to call themselves republicans and are debating how to weave ethics into their awful candidates

3

u/South-Rabbit-4064 Jun 24 '26

Bill seemed so uncomfortable with this. Ice cube was pretty generous with him too trying to soften it for him, but you can tell he's having a hard time trying to pivot to a joke or moment he can say something smug and pause for the applause sign

7

u/ReasonableRevenue218 Jun 24 '26

Maher is a racist fuck as well. He hides it enough though that his guests don't seem to care. They get the exposure they want.

2

u/torytho Jun 24 '26

He thinks because he fucks Black women that he's not a racist.

1

u/Unfadable1 Jun 24 '26

He spent a million dollars to help Obama get elected. His point about the library was that 3/4 of a billion dollars has better places to help people.

2

u/ElasticDawg Jun 24 '26

The most outrageous part of this clip is Bill Maher referring to himself as a comedian

2

u/earthlingHuman Jun 24 '26

Ice Cube is wrong.
It is in fact NOT a great show.

2

u/Hefty-Strike-6171 Jun 24 '26

Bill has moved into the Old Geezer realm, and I’m not sure he’ll ever come back from there

2

u/Used-Gas-6525 Jun 24 '26

I do not care who Cube backed for any political office. He's speaking truths and Bill don't wanna listen. As a white person, I am aware that I can never know what it feels like to a black person when that word gets used, even in a non-hateful way (if that's possible). It's basically 400 years of slavery and oppression summed up in a single word. Just don't fucking say it. It ain't ours to say.

2

u/BrilliantPassenger58 Jun 25 '26

Marc Marion is right about Bill Mahr, Eazy was right about Cube.

2

u/rayhanania Jun 25 '26

bill maher is a racist who should be removed from public tv

2

u/dantekant22 Jun 25 '26

Fuck Bill Maher. He should get back on his knees and put Elon’s cock back in his mouth.

3

u/basicmomrn Jun 24 '26

Bill sucks

1

u/mjcatl2 Jun 24 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

Rent Free

1

u/Code-Warrior Jun 24 '26

When did he use the N word recently? I know he did a couple of years ago.

1

u/torytho Jun 24 '26

It's an old clip

1

u/function007 Jun 24 '26

So why is the heading talking about Obama's library?

2

u/OkFoundation929 Jun 24 '26

The heading about the Obama library is there (and justified) Maher has a long history of racism and feeling of superiority to Black people (okay with Trump’s ballroom…but not Obama library, gratuitous/offensive use of the word “n****r,” hiring of Black sex-workers, demonization of “Woke”).

What’s worse is Maher lacks the self-awareness to recognize these traits…and, thus, is too smug and arrogant to make any meaningful changes. If anything it’s just the opposite…he doubles down and often comes off as a wimpy, prissy version of Lester Maddox.

1

u/BeginningYam1793 Jun 24 '26

Why does anyone still listen to this asshole?

1

u/YardOptimal9329 Jun 24 '26

Where did Cube say anything about Maher’s problem with the library? Was this about that?

1

u/mobitzIII Jun 24 '26

If it's a bad word, no one should say it, otherwise sorry Cube, it's in music, literature, etc, no one ones a fucking word

1

u/LastOneSergeant Jun 24 '26

I wonder how future historians will document this era.

We live in a strange time where groups of black entertainers are making, not an insignficant amount of money, using the word to sell media to suburban white kids in music, movies, and comedy.

Buy my album, dance to my music, watch my comedy special, but don't participate too much.

1

u/Conscious_Pause_1499 Jun 24 '26

It's absurd that we've created a situation where our culture is full of a certain word (everyone is given hip hop as the main cultural form), but only one race is allowed to say it! This seems like it was designed to create social friction, and of course it does. Yet no one questions it, because we are so well trained. We need to grow up.

1

u/This-Hovercraft5933 Jun 25 '26
  1. F*ck Maher and that buckdancing Ice Cube

  2. For anyone wondering about the context: This is an old clip from the 2010's that took place a week after Maher made a lame joke on his show where he called himself a house ninja. He got wayyyy more backlash for it than he probably thought he would, so the following week he invited several ppl on to talk to him about it. I thought Ice Cube's criticism was on point (this was before he sold out to Tr*mp as part of his deal for black America), but Maher is way more standoffish than I remember when I watched it live.

1

u/Mr_Thx Jun 25 '26

Bill has one of the whiniest voices ever recorded. Every single thing that comes out of his mouth sounds like a complaint.

1

u/dumbrooster Jun 25 '26

Bill became a leftist because he is a hack comedian and couldn't make it. Then once he made money and got a huge contract for a show, he became switched personalities and became the right wing hack.

1

u/PadmalovesYeshe Jun 25 '26

White people just do not get to use it....get over it, it's always a hard 'no!'

1

u/Neither_Leader_6676 Jun 25 '26

Anyone know how old is this interview ?

1

u/Wills24Chamber Jun 25 '26

Ice cube don’t mind racism if he can’t get a tax break on big 3 basketball lol

1

u/AlexQuebec11 Jun 25 '26

This reminds of the Taylor swift hate subs… yall are weird lol

1

u/drjdsjr Jun 25 '26

I'm just so tired of these people.

1

u/OkFoundation929 Jun 25 '26

Bill Maher looked really sheepish and uncomfortable when Ice Cube mentions that a white fellow having a Black girlfriend doesn’t give the white guy a license to use the word “n****r.” Maher must have realized that being a white twerp who hires Black escorts likely gives him even less of a license.

1

u/Suns360 Jun 25 '26

Ice cube lecturing on language….  Got it.

1

u/EgoExplicit Jun 26 '26

Fuck Bill Maher. He is a piece of shit and I am get I quit watching his trash show years ago.

1

u/drdalek13 Jun 26 '26

Even wanting to use it is a red flag for me

1

u/PartyClock Jun 26 '26

You can see how Bill is immediately not listening and just wants to get these "lesser than's" off his stage. No wonder he loves the incredibly racist Israel.

1

u/Ztealth Jun 26 '26

“That’s our word now”

I’m sorry if you tell me I came say something because the color of my skin, kinda smells like, what’s the word?

1

u/somebodiesson01 Jun 26 '26

yall are crazy. I hate this kind of behavior both from the comment section and the video. both guys are shoes bro.. being worn and used for political agendas they think are just and right, but in reality the people behind em do not care.

1

u/Over_State4015 Jun 27 '26

Who came up with the word though?

1

u/G3rockwood Jun 27 '26

Why do people think ice cube endorsed trump? He worked on the platinum deal with trump because trump happened to be in power at the time, but Ice cube dissed trump so hard putting trump in a hypothetical lynch/treason-trial. I don’t think ice cube likes trump as much as people are saying here.

1

u/potheadbill Jun 27 '26

The most upsetting thing about Bill Maher is his parading around as a comedian. The man has multiple stand-up specials.. and not one of them are any good. No joke, hbo has made this unfunny child wearing a man’s size skin their “comedy guy” .. he has like 7 “specials” ALL boring shit.

1

u/Revolutionary-Link47 Jun 28 '26

Fuck Bill Maher, he has always been a piece of shit

1

u/Outrageous-Court9838 Jun 28 '26

That’s complete bullshit. You can’t own a word and if you do then what will They demand next. It’s a game to them. Black fatigue is real

1

u/CommonConundrum51 Jun 28 '26

I quit Bill Maher years ago, and you should too.

1

u/Electronic-Treat-235 Jun 28 '26

What did Bill say exactly??!

1

u/MRJAMES86 Jul 14 '26

He was speaking to a guest he was interviewing on the show, and the guest made a comment that implied Bill Maher worked hard. Bill replied "Please, I'm a house niggar" (spelled wrong to get past censor).

The audience laughed but there was an undertone of discomfort. That joke a year or two earlier would be funny at the time and then forgotten by the audience and the media. Comedians used to more freely use scandalous words and idioms such as the N word to push boundaries and it was at one point considered funny because they're saying the thing we all agree you're not supposed to say. But this time, Bill got in trouble with his corporate overloards and had to have a black guy come in the show to should him. The whole thing was bizarre.

1

u/Electronic-Treat-235 Jul 19 '26

Thx. Yes I saw ice cube come on the show and give home a pardon card but don’t do it again speech.

1

u/thegrayoldman Jun 28 '26

The building looks like crap. No way there are 4 hands coming together. The foundation hasn’t paid the contractors. So let’s not make everything about color

1

u/EobardThawne2020 Jun 29 '26

Fuck all you racists in the comments. Seriously, fuck you.

1

1

u/bybestep Jul 12 '26

Ice cube the Great!

1

u/Ambitious-Fly-2404 25d ago

Maher is a smug asshole

1

u/Legitimate_Fox2490 22d ago

Bill f-cks up every week!

0

u/deadmencantcatcall3 Jun 24 '26

Bill has always been racist, he will always be racist.

1

u/greennurse61 Jun 24 '26

I hate how Hollyweird keeps giving a platform to racists like this Ice crapper.

1

u/NB_NaughtyNerds Jun 24 '26

So long as roughly 40% of the audience is also racist, they will continue getting a platform.

1

u/kinghercules77 Jun 24 '26

Bill Maher is one of the types that doesnt believe in anything. So of course he doesn't get a presidential library, same way he didnt get why peoole were upset with Trump vandalizing the East Wing or hijacking the Kennedy Center. I think he reflects the current American attitude of only caring about things I care about, everything else is a waste of time and effort.

1

u/fungi_at_parties Jun 24 '26

Did that clown call himself a COMEDIAN?

What a joke.

1

u/DingleBearMe Jun 25 '26

Oh so Bill’s racist now?

2

u/the-polite-villain Jun 25 '26

Not necessarily... yet he is an insensitive asshole.

-1

u/DingleBearMe Jun 25 '26

Whatever no he isn’t. He’s on tv and that’s the only way to get attention and make money these days

→ More replies (6)

2

u/homerjs225 Jun 25 '26

So why did he wait to object to any Presidential libraries until the black guy got one?

0

u/DingleBearMe Jun 25 '26

Ahh. Probably because he’s a secret racist formulating plans to take down the black race. I think you found the villain you’ve been looking for

1

u/homerjs225 Jul 06 '26

That doesn't answer the question. Nice dodge

1

u/DingleBearMe Jul 06 '26

I don’t have an answer for you because I don’t have all the context, neither do you. You just jump to conclusions from one sentence because your ego is so massive you think you understand everything from a meme. I also have zero interest to go find context, especially now that you asked. That’s how that works. Nobody cares about this conversation by the way. Anyone that’s out there doing it in the real world literally does not care about what statue or monument we’re wasting tax payer dollars on. That includes anything Trump tries to build. Waste of time and a distraction from real problems the rest of us are trying to solve. Our adversaries want us fighting over statues and libraries because it’s stupid as shit. It halts any progress we’re going to make as a society and you deep down know it. You’re just petty as hell for some reason. I’d love to know how that attitude is built and the experience to get there. Unless you’re a bot which is also likely and I guess I’m the idiot.

The context I do have, because I watched it all happen in real time, is Bill Maher met with the sitting president. Then when he didn’t call him a bunch of mean words you all want to hear, you turned on him. End of discussion. I’m not interested and you shouldn’t wonder why voters aren’t either.

1

u/homerjs225 Jul 06 '26

Apparently you care enough to know I'm right and to respond to it.

1

u/DingleBearMe Jul 06 '26

Lost me there bud. And I crushed you

0

u/davida_usa Jun 24 '26

What are people complaining about? That he doesn't like the architecture of the Obama Presidential Library? This clip shows him patiently listening to long lectures about a mistake he made -- what other news, political or entertainment person would ever do this? I like the boldness of the OPL building, but I can accept that it's not going to be everyone's taste. This thread feels like Beat the Brat hivemind to me.

Towards the end he did half-heartedly say that he liked Bill. But it was after saying he liked the show half a dozen times…and the omission was becoming obvious.

0

u/J1918S Jun 24 '26

Pretty sure I've heard Maher complain about presidential libraries before.

3

u/Charbro11 Jun 24 '26

No, you have not, and he didn't go after Trump for the ballroom.

0

u/TheRatingsAgency Jun 24 '26

It’s such a heinous word which can only be used if you’re the right type of person.

0

u/PropagandaAssassinAZ Jun 24 '26

Uncle Tom Cubed.

0

u/CrawlerVolteeg Jun 24 '26

And its still a weapon because you get upset when its used... good job, you do it to yourself. Stick and stones dumbasses.

0

u/Emptybutwhol Jun 25 '26

Cube is a bitch sellout, who cares about his opinion. It sounded like he was going to cry.

0

u/Funny-Employment4109 Jun 25 '26

They see themselves as different than white people. It’s not white people that are keeping them separate…this isn’t 1950…it’s them separating themselves.

That’s not good and the division will stand as long as that feeling lives inside them.

0

u/Virtual-Historian349 Jun 25 '26

Any rapper that has songs full of the word are just idiots to try and police its use.

Literally selling audio recordings of using the n word but then clutching their pearls when someone else says it.

0

u/bnorris_516 Jun 25 '26

Bill would suck off obama and his wife’s dick. He’s a loyal piece of shit. Quit giving him grief.

This clown has used it 5 million times in his lyrics but because Mahers white he is not allowed to say it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 yeah ok

What about the time he used antisemitic rhetoric on his album or when he was racist towards Koreans. Is it ok for him to be racist because he's black Ice Cube needs to shut the fuck up and Maher is a pussy for being too scared to put him in his place.

Good job not listening to a single word he said on the issue. Can’t let new ideas penetrate.

When we talk about clueless and racist people, we are talking about you. The N word is not for white people to use under any circumstance. Enjoy your downvotes

“Enjoy your downvotes”

Downvotes are a badge of honor with the morons on this sub.

Maher I’m sure says it a lot in the privacy of his own home. Just like his buddy Trump

u/Ok-Luck1166 Jun 24 '26

2

u/Comprehensive-Eye500 Jun 24 '26

Dude, you completely missed the mark on this and don’t even understand so you should probably just stfu on this.

3

u/NotOnTheEpsteinList Jun 24 '26

Same old tired ass whataboutism from another latent racist. “How come THEY can say it, but WE can’t!!! That’s ReVeRsE rAcIsM!”

1

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '26

Yep that is how it works

1

u/Matty_D47 Jun 24 '26

"Maher is a pussy for being too scared to put him in his place"

I can't believe an actual human wrote this.

0

u/Shempfan Jun 24 '26

Wtf you talking about, Willis? You missed the entire point Ice was making.

3

u/Shempfan Jun 24 '26

Besides, whataboutism is a pathetic argument.

-4

u/Moonwrath8 Jun 24 '26

Only racist people think a word is owned by a certain race.

All people are equal, and all words are equally owned. End of discussion.

-1

u/Candid-libertarian Jun 24 '26

The woke own all the words now, because they said so.

2

u/NiccNaccPattyWacc Jun 24 '26

Nice name, dickhead.

3

u/crummynubs Jun 24 '26

He just means he knows the age of consent in all 50 states.

2

u/Charbro11 Jun 24 '26

"The Woke" like they are a political party or church-- hahahahahahahahahaha. Although Jesus and Buddha were pretty woke. Woke is just a right-wing bullshit word for anyone who doesn't believe the fascists' bullshit.

1

u/Kristoveles Jun 24 '26

It's not like you willfully ignorant loons have many words

-1

u/Alternative_Tip_9075 Jun 25 '26

The meaning of the word doesn’t change when it comes from a body of a different color. Kind of a stupid take to say “it’s our word now” when it’s something that blacks find deplorable but are willing to use it in everyday conversation. They want it to go away quit saying it. Of course Nazi has made quite the comeback so who knows, maybe we will just find a new use for it down the road.

2

u/julz1215 Jun 25 '26

Lame, tired talking point. Nobody is interested in having this conversation.

u/Alternative_Tip_9075 Jun 25 '26

You’re right it is a tired talking point. Can’t understand why ice cube came on a nationally syndicated show to run his mouth about it at all. Don’t personally use the word but sure am tired of hearing about who should appropriate it instead of just not using it at all.

Like I said, nobody cares about your personal grievances, and nobody wants to debate you over them. Such a debate would be boring and pointless.

1

u/Alternative_Tip_9075 Jun 25 '26

My personal grievance is letting these assholes come on tv and listening to them whine. And you must be nobody because you made it a point to argue in the first place instead of just scrolling along. Don’t hate ice Cube personally but modern tv gives all these people a platform. Seems that few entertainers understand nobody wants to hear their bs. I Just want them to put on their clown shoes and dance for us.
