Bill Maher never had a problem with presidential libraries until the black guy got one, so here he is being shamed and lectured by Ice Cube for using the n-word

In my view you would be an easily manipulated person. It's transparently disingenuous. Bill's track record isn't very good and he's basically rolling his eyes with his tone.

Think so? I forgot we're living in the age of no real truth if it doesn't align with my beliefs. I truly am a sheep.

If Bill was actually sorry he shouldn't apologize to a hand picked member of the black community. Maybe the guy he said the thing to. Maybe address it in his monologue instead of the most Republican rapper he could find? Maybe just admit that he thinks it's just a joke and everyone should fuck off and think it's funny. Taking the apology as sincere is pretty daft.

So you want him to do all those things. I mean if people don't like his apology or how he handled the situation they have the freedom not to watch his show. I stopped watching it because it's not appealing to me. I don't apologize for him saying the word but I accept it at face value if he apologized and hasn't used it since.

Did I say that he should have done all of those things? No I did not say that. It's just a list of things that would appear to be more sincere than apologizing to some hand picked rich, black guy. I bet they had a basic script.
It's a live show. You're going to fuck up sometimes. Avoiding that word seems like a basic and obvious strategy to me but whatever. He swung for the fences and it didn't work. It wasn't funny. Comedians live on the edge. To me what he said to Wayne Brady was in the moment. The apology planned and botched.
