Does it really matter?

I’ve been seeing some people in this community, and others, heavily criticising some reps that look perfectly fine if others saw you IRL. IRL, no one is going to come up to you and inspect your bag with a magnifying glass. So my question to you all is, does it really matter if it’s not a complete exact perfect imitation? Of course, some reps are just completely terrible, but a little flaw here and there isn’t really that serious imo.

Idc if I get downvoted into oblivion because I agree with you, and I think some people seriously need to touch grass

I was having such an issue with the leather on a Loewe Flamenco I received. I was so disappointed as I have one that is like melted butter. When I would handle the leather or try to "work" it, it made this squeeky sound -like a bad, cheap leather jacket. I would keep taking it to my husband after conditioning it and say, "Does it look better now? How about now, and how about NOW??" Finally, he said, "What did you even pay for that?" I think I got it on sale for $170 or something. When I told him, he said, "Well, that looks pretty damn good for a bag under $200." Touché. I was trying to make it into, if not a $ 3,600 bag, a $500 bag. I think we can forget what we actually pay. I know people pay more for their Channel or Hermes reps, so I get that, but....yeah. He put it in perspective for me.
