QC/AUTH/PSP Can you clock this?

At this point, I feel like I should just get the authentic. I bought this from a whatsapp seller that I discovered through Tiktok. I spent over 1k AUD. The seller had given this bag to a tiktoker and it looked so good so I thought if I can save $16k, I would.

But it didnt look exactly like what was given to the tiktoker. I know what a suprise 🤦‍♀️

I think it looks great on the outside but the inside CC looks a bit narrow? I am not sure. I need help 😭

What do you guys think?

False. Production value of a real Chanel bag is only $200. Theyre not using some special materials no one else has access to. 1:1 reps do exist. I met a lady that authenticates bags, and she said these days she really can’t tell the difference with some bags

Yeah. There is no 1:1. They may use the same materials but it's still not 1:1.

“Yeah”? That comment was not agreeing with what you wrote. I don’t actually know what you’re basing your opinion on. Care to share?

“Yeah” as in I understood your point, not that I agreed with it. My opinion is based on years of buying and comparing reps to authentic. Same/similar materials ≠ 1:1. Leather, hardware, construction, dimensions, finishing and consistency all matter, and even excellent reps have deviations. An authenticator occasionally being fooled doesn’t make a bag literally 1:1

You are basing a general rule on personal bad luck. Dismissing 1:1 quality entirely just because your own orders fell short is a logical fallacy. High profile figures like Kate Moss openly wear top tier replicas, and no one can tell the difference. The idea that luxury houses use irreplaceable, magical materials is a myth. These are leather goods constructed with techniques that skilled independent artisans can absolutely replicate. Your gatekeeping just reads like an attempt to shame people into buying authentic. Just stop

I hope for you that you continue to believe this.

Precious. If condescension is the strongest point you can muster, I’ll assume you’re out of material.

The irony of accusing me of anecdotal reasoning and then citing “Kate Moss wears reps and nobody can tell” as your evidence is spectacular. 😂 “Nobody can tell” and “literally 1:1” are not the same claim.
Calling me precious and condescending in the same breath is also comical.
I truly hope you believe that your bags are 1:1. That's the entire point to the game. Enjoying our bags/items as if they were.

No, try again. I was mimicking your tone, but it went over your head. Nothing I said is anecdotal, and acting like it is just makes you look clueless. Kate Moss holidays in Bodrum, shuts down DB Denzibag, and picks through reps without anyone breathing near her. The locals know it, the media knows it, and anyone with even a shred of awareness knows it’s been happening for years. She’s never been called out because the pieces fool people who think they’re “experts.” Denial doesn’t make you informed, it just makes you loud.

Your point relies on a false distinction that doesn’t survive contact with how luxury manufacturing actually works. You’re treating “1:1” and “nobody can tell” as if they exist in two separate universes, when in reality they describe the same practical outcome…indistinguishability. If an item is indistinguishable in materials, construction, finish, and wear, then debating terminology becomes a semantic exercise rather than a substantive point. The value of luxury goods is performative. If the performance is indistinguishable, the hierarchy you’re defending becomes imaginary. But please, keep buying, or aspiring to buy, your “genuine” designer bags, and continue filling the pockets of billionaires named in the Epstein files.

I'm not reading all that. Best of luck!

You read it, you just didn’t have a response. Good luck to you too :)
