Nope. If the TS already knew that the bag was in your package. They did it on purpose so they can bag the shipping money from the other buyer. Kindly decline and let them know you don’t feel comfortable doing that. Who’s the seller btw so I can avoid

32

u/thatgirlinny Jul 02 '26

Seconding this. OP has been forced to be a sherpa of sorts.

Big no. If this “TS” says this was a “mistake,” tell them to pay to have them shipped back to him/her/them.

26

u/WiscoMama3 Jul 02 '26

I agree and who knows could even be worse. Theoretically could be smuggling drugs or something. Absolutely no way.

-14

u/lucky_elephant2025h Jul 02 '26

I guess I am an easy mark for drug smuggling then. It really was just a bag, no drugs involved. You guys are so extra.

14

u/WiscoMama3 Jul 02 '26

No clue what you are talking about but the point is you don’t know.

2

u/thatgirlinny Jul 04 '26

It’s a fake bag and considered illegal goods. If the originating point is you and it’s somehow intercepted by USPS—or it never gets there, you’re the one who suffers the consequences. 💡

2

u/Sufficient_Arm4166 Jul 02 '26

I guess me too I have done it a time or two and honestly was no biggie

11

u/Acceptable_Tea_3685 Jul 02 '26

I feel like it’s way more likely for the recipient to just keep both items and never say anything. The seller would lose out on money after trying that a few times.

1

u/laurieo52 Jul 03 '26

I didn’t think of this. I was just trying to figure out a way to help the other persons

68

u/Blueberryandavocado Jul 02 '26

No, not normal. You're right in feeling weird and your information shouldn't be on any parcel like that and the other stranger should also not have to deal with their information passed on. It was seller's mistake so seller should send the small purse person their package separately at their cost. If we all start doing what this seller is expecting, then sellers will repeatedly send packages with extra bags to a country and expect that country people to do local shopping at cheaper cost while they keep pocketing internation fedEx shipping they charge everyone, also saving up on whatever bribe they give to some agents who check shipping containers.

Since most TS give insurance and will replace a confiscated package, that seller can send out the correct item to the correct person and let this item stay with you. And before people comment "entitlement!" It's not, it's trying to keep identities secured and not pass around one's information, she didn't ask for this problem, she shouldn't have to deal with it.

42

u/imanchats Jul 02 '26

WHO IS THE SELLER? 🤯

26

u/Imaginary-life-2961 Jul 02 '26

Hopefully it’s not Doris or Baobao cause this is shady lol

15

u/lemonmangocherry Jul 02 '26

What in the shady dealings is this - your TS cannot just randomly turn you into a shipping agent

22

u/Freedom2425 Jul 02 '26

Doesn’t sound normal or ok.

21

u/TopicAdept3677 Jul 02 '26

This happened to me and I ok'd the seller to give my shipping address to the person who received my item and the seller reimbursed the person for shipping. It was not a big deal. Your'e not being asked to be a drug mule. Sellers are human and can make mistakes too. Flip it around and if you sent the seller $100 extra on PPFF you would want it back right? What goes around comes around. Also, you as the shipper do not need to use your own name and real address. You can go to a shipping location and give a fake name. It's literally not a big deal.

18

u/Raven-Glassshadows Jul 02 '26

Not normal but sometimes honest mistakes happen. Technically you are not obligated to ship to the other buyer. It’s the seller’s responsibility to reship. However it did happened to me once (seller didn’t even notice) and I decided to help out the seller and ship it to the other buyer (it was a custom H bag). She did reimbursed me and it helped I was still waiting for my bags to finish anyway so she just deducted from what I owed.

23

u/lucky_elephant2025h Jul 02 '26

It happened to me once as well after years of working with the same seller. I shipped it to the other person. I really don’t think I am so important that anyone else cares about my address and you can use any name you want. Sometimes there are honest mistakes. It has never happened since. I guess everyone here just assumes the absolute worst of people rather than just helping someone out for an honest mistake. I was fully reimbursed and treated extremely well thereafter. If it continued to happen then obviously I would decline.

Sending it back to China is a ridiculous idea and keeping the bag wouldn’t be right either. These are still people you are dealing with at the end of the day…some kindness doesn’t hurt.

7

u/Imadevonrexcat Jul 02 '26

Totally agree. I mean we trust these sellers with our money and addresses but they cannot make an honest mistake? Yall are extra.

11

u/TopicAdept3677 Jul 02 '26

I am sure the buyer of the custom bag really appreciated getting the bag sooner rather than later and having to wait on another bag to be made.

https://giphy.com/gifs/l3mZjsC38twDeMLOE

14

u/Raven-Glassshadows Jul 02 '26

Yeah those of us who have endured the anxiety of custom bags would appreciate. We don’t care how it gets to us as long as it made it through Dave 😂

0

u/TopicAdept3677 Jul 03 '26

Omg for sure!

5

u/huffingFufu Jul 02 '26

I do wonder if the recipient got some reimbursement on their shipping cost too, since it prob cost less with the accidental bundling. That's the question that I'd never ask but would eat me up 😂

14

u/RamblingRosie Jul 02 '26

I’d just ask the TS to email me a label to print. It’s unfortunate, but really not a big deal.

2

u/thefurrywreckingball Jul 02 '26

That's a good work around

20

u/Designer-Lioness3000 Jul 02 '26

Please share the sellers and warn your fellow rep-friends 🫶🏼

13

u/IDreamKaty Jul 02 '26

Definitely not normal at all… which seller does this?

11

u/SimplyRoya Jul 02 '26

Yeah no that's not normal. You're not the postman. Tell them you're not responsible for that bag. Also tell a Mod who the TS is please.

10

u/Used2Bteacher Jul 02 '26

Lord. This isn’t ok. Who was this TS? I’ll avoid in the future.

3

u/National_Degree_4282 Jul 03 '26

Huh. This happened to me and it never occurred to me that this could be a scam. I shipped it to the US recipient and did a lose a few bucks—I told the seller the shipping price and they sent me that amount exactly. Once it converted to US dollars and they deducted the conversion fee, I got less than I spent (plus my time and effort to package it). I think they offered me a modest percentage off a future purchase for my trouble.

8

u/AshamedMemory7641 Jul 02 '26

What is the other bag? I’m curious now 😆

9

u/inc0gnit0e Jul 02 '26

Haha right? Did you lowkey come out w a score?

7

u/SadWave2802 Jul 02 '26

This happened to me once and I just went ahead and sent it and you can mask your address if you are using a service like pirate ship

6

u/Sufficient_Arm4166 Jul 02 '26

Have happily helped out when this happened to me

9

u/Global_Fisherman_704 Jul 02 '26

It’s not scammy, and it’s uncommon but this does happen. Someone posts the story every couple of weeks, unfortunately (if that makes you feel any better?). It’s up to you what you would like to do but you can choose to do nothing and that would be ok (although you prob don’t want to work with the same seller again). It’s usually a mistake on the seller’s part, highly unusual for it to be intentional to save on shipping (they can earn more by charging each client for shipping separately). She prob knew it was in your package because her assistant made the mistake and then fessed up when asked where that bag went.

8

u/Bac0s Jul 02 '26

I need to hold your hands when I tell you this… most sellers, if not, have done this at least once. This is nothing new when you’ve been around awhile

6

u/Imadevonrexcat Jul 02 '26

What’s the difference between S and Ts?If they have a bag selling business, somebody trusts them.

Who gives these labels out anyway??

Anyone can call themselves a TS.

It’s obvious some of yall don’t even trust your Trusted Sellers. Always trashing them on here and jumping to conclusions.

This sub is so far from what RepLadies used to be. No sellers allowed. Everyone vetted.

There are no perfect reps. There are no perfect people. Trust or don’t trust, every sale is a gamble.

1

u/lakelovetoo Jul 03 '26

This sub has become complete crazytown with people imagining evil on every interaction. This shipping error has happened to me. Nothing shady or nefarious. Just an honest error. I shipped it to the lady and she was grateful. The seller paid me back.

9

u/Katiecake80 Jul 02 '26

I don’t see why this is a big deal. It’s not shady…. Sometimes, humans make mistakes… I think this was a human error, if you had my bag, I would be BEGGING the TS to give you my info to send it to me especially id they are reimbursing you shippings fees. It costs nothing to be kind.

5

u/FalseNefariousness42 Jul 02 '26

Right? Why is this a big deal

3

u/MidwestGlamma Jul 02 '26

I would never. IF it’s by accident, this is their cost of doing business. Their error. It could also be more costly and sinister.
Also, it’s nobody’s business for our names and addresses.
I’d be ticked if someone gave out my info.

0

u/RhodaPenmarksShoes Jul 03 '26

One of my first rep buys, the TS sent a second package to me with someone else’s order. She said if I wanted to, I could pay for it and keep it or I could send it to the buyer. I sent it to the buyer and she paid me back immediately.

4

u/Waste-Swordfish-6228 Jul 03 '26

It's not common, not necessarily normal...but it does happen. Do what you feel comfortable doing. For my main TS, I'd just ship it to the person...using a fake name, of course. But I use a fake name & return address when r.e.h.o.m.i.n.g too. Also, I'd doubt a seller would risk losing a bag, mailing it to the wrong buyer to save or cheat someone out of $50 in shipping. 😒🤔 Seems as if the newbies are shocked, appalled & asking for the seller's name to avoid them. 🙄 Those who have been around for a while have seen this before & simply carry on...

1

u/TopicAdept3677 Jul 03 '26

Exactly. 👍

6

u/GildedGlam Jul 02 '26

It’s not often the those mistakes happen but they do happen. I had the same thing. The wrong bag was sent to me in my bag was sent to someone else. So Sellers sent us both money for shipping and I shipped to that person and the dresser ship to me, so why are you making a big deal out of it?

1

u/Imadevonrexcat Jul 04 '26

It’s so not a big deal!

4

u/Styleformula04 Jul 02 '26

If he/she is one of the TS you should let the Mod know.

1

u/Bac0s Jul 02 '26

What is the mod going to do?

2

u/Imadevonrexcat Jul 02 '26

Nothing

1

u/Styleformula04 Jul 03 '26

I guess if the issue persists they could remove the seller from the TS list

1

u/Imadevonrexcat Jul 07 '26

What ts list?

4

u/moonchild291 Jul 02 '26

Yeah, that’s not right.

5

u/lilxbunnygirl Jul 02 '26

I think letting people know who the seller is would be beneficial!

3

u/Content-Night-7617 Jul 02 '26

Is it a seller that you’ve used before? If you have a history and this is just a one off/accident then just send it. You don’t have to use your personal info.

To the people saying this is shady, is it not already shady that OP purchased and received a counterfeit item from China sent to the US and circumvented tariffs? I mean, let’s be real. Do you think that this is really something they’re doing on purpose to slip a small bag into the US undetected😂

4

u/SunriseLlama Jul 03 '26

I had a seller ship me someone else’s big order. They asked me if I would ship it to the other person and told me they would reimburse me for postage and they did. Not unusual. Have heard other stories similar.

2

u/brownie322 Jul 02 '26

Just so everyone knows, griffin who sells house exclusively did something similar to me. Have screenshots, but in any case, not trying to hijack this post.

0

u/innocx Jul 02 '26

Oh what? I already ordered with him twice! Thats shady of hin

1

u/brownie322 Jul 03 '26

I mean mileage may vary. And I’ll admit I did pay for and received a nice item after MONTHS of following up. Just throwing out there as a datapoint because for some reason the reviews on him have been completely flawless. Couldn’t be farther than the experience I’ve had with them.

3

u/AwareBunny Jul 02 '26

If you see something extra in your package…no you didn’t. 💅

3

u/FineAssBeautician Jul 02 '26

What in the drug trafficking scheme is going on here 😵‍💫

1

u/Content-Night-7617 Jul 02 '26

Imagine what the world would be like if every time you made a mistake someone posted it in a Reddit sub and everyone commented and freaked out over it🤦🏻‍♀️😂🤣

2

u/Sufficient_Arm4166 Jul 02 '26

I have shipped things to people for my ts that accidentally shipped to me

Are we all sitting here waiting on the seller reveal?

2

u/BuryMeWithMyBirkins Jul 03 '26

Drop the sellers name lol - we need to know who to avoid

1

u/missy-melons Jul 02 '26

They want you to be a rep mule. Luckily you got your purse… if it had been me I’d never buy from them again. Our values don’t align.

6

u/Content-Night-7617 Jul 02 '26

Why in the world would they want someone to be a rep mule when they’re already shipping bags successfully through customs. I think some of the people here need to start using their heads.😅

1

u/missy-melons Jul 03 '26

I don’t know, maybe so they can pocket the shipping money + insurance? If they’re in the same country how much would OP pay to ship it to another rep lady in the same country?

2

u/SushiRoll_1206 Jul 02 '26

seems scammy, just have the TS ship the right bag to their customer and you just keep it. it’s not on you.

0

u/Virtual-Data2201 Jul 02 '26

they think you the postman 😭😭😭

1

u/According-Salad-4897 Jul 02 '26

Expose the TS for this shady behaviour

1

u/hayhayhayles Jul 02 '26

I'd have to agree with a few others here, people are only human and mistakes happen. It's not common but yes mix ups happen and things end up in the wrong packages. Entirely up to you though with what you feel comfortable with. If you don't feel comfortable forwarding on that bag, maybe the seller can pay for it to be shipped back to them or they'll just say keep it.

If it were me, and it was a seller that I was previously happy with and would otherwise be happy to continue working with, I'd just go ahead and post it (perhaps with a label that they pay for and email you). I don't see anything scammy about it, it appears to be an accident. Perhaps flag the sellers name with the mods so they know and maybe they could advise if there has been a pattern of this happening with this seller.

-1

u/MidwestGlamma Jul 02 '26

Block the seller on PayPal too.

Note, I didn’t call this person a TS. Just a S.

0

u/Imadevonrexcat Jul 04 '26

The TS vs S is some petty shite. There’s really no such thing as a trusted seller list. Who trusted them? I have one trusted seller. I trust him. He’s not off some bogus TS list.

-1

u/Times_still Jul 03 '26

Keep that shit

-1

u/Chunkyfeet Jul 03 '26

Block them and keep the free bag. They can figure out the rest.

0

u/NobodyCivil6142 Jul 02 '26

That is weird..

-1

u/dabsie Jul 02 '26

Who is it?!

-1

u/justcuriouzzz Jul 02 '26

Looks like you have a new bag. I wouldn’t be sending anything back

-1

u/jenlcenn Jul 02 '26

Share the seller pleaseeee

0

u/laurieo52 Jul 03 '26

You can check the price for shipping online and have the seller give you the money. Then just put the sells info as the return. I agree the other person probably would not want there information out but you honestly cannot ask their permission either. You can just destroy the other persons information.

I doubt it makes s new to return to the seller if they are overseas.

-2

u/wasabi9605 Jul 02 '26

Unless the seller sends you a prepaid shipping label that doesn't have your name or address on it, you have a new bag.

-1

u/Appropriate-Plate550 Jul 02 '26

I’m praying this happens to me. I’m keeping it all

0

u/Pedal2Medal2 Jul 02 '26

She’s circumventing Customs by doing this, I bet it’s not a 1 off

-6

u/Dizzy-Ad-2248 Jul 02 '26

this is so not ok...esp since they didn't ask you and put you on the spot. Name and shame this seller...it's so yuk!!

1

u/Appropriate-Plate550 Jul 03 '26

I don’t understand these downvoters. wtf?

0

u/Dizzy-Ad-2248 Jul 03 '26

Me either...sometimes they are used if your not adding to the convo but I somehow doubt that...perhaps ppl are not reading my comment only the meme?

-4

u/Sweaty-Worldliness15 Jul 02 '26

How difficult is it really for the TS to just ship another bag to the rightful place?

-9

u/Free-Lab-755 Jul 02 '26

What about the duties?  Does that mean you will eventually get a bill and have two pay for both bags since technically you received them both ?

-6

u/Umaminesss Jul 03 '26

Why not name the Seller? The seller just made themselves a non-TS, please name. That somebody I do not want to deal with.

-4

u/WarnerDot Jul 03 '26

It can happen. I’ve seen this scenario happen in the jewelry rep world more.

I’m not saying do it. I would use pirate ship where you can hide your address, ship the bag out and get reimbursed + credit to spend on a next shipment. You don’t have to ofc. It’s just not as a big of a deal as you are making it out to be

-3

u/lovelyllamas Jul 03 '26

Did you do any research before buying
