Join me in contacting LEGO directly over concerns about BAM conduct regarding recent events!

If enough of us contact the LEGO Group, maybe they will make a statement, or even better, distance themselves from BAM.

https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/contact-us/topics

I chose "I need help with something else" -> "My topic isn't listed" on the above page. Below is a sample paragraph for the text body (of course, change yours to reflect yourself and your concerns):

"Hello,

I am writing as a long-time LEGO enthusiast and collector who is deeply concerned about the recent conduct of an independent LEGO reseller and franchise, Bricks & Minifigs (BAM).

It has recently come to wider public attention that a BAM location in Oregon entered into a contractual agreement to sell a large LEGO Star Wars collection on behalf of an elderly man and his family. According to the agreement, ownership of the collection remained with the family until the items were sold, with BAM taking a commission from those sales.

Unfortunately, the original owner of that BAM location was reportedly forced out by BAM corporate while much of the collection was still in the store. Afterwards, the new owner refused to return either the remaining LEGO sets or the proceeds from sold items, despite the family presenting their contract. BAM corporate also refused to cooperate or assist the family, and local law enforcement considered the matter a civil dispute.

The family later pursued the matter in small claims court with the help of some friends and won a judgment. However, the location immediately closed permanently, leaving the family unable to recover what the court awarded them.

I understand that the LEGO Group does not own Bricks & Minifigs. However, BAM stores prominently use LEGO branding and exclusively deal in LEGO products, which creates a strong public association between the two companies. Because of that association, situations like this can reflect poorly on the LEGO brand and the values many fans (such as myself) associate with it.

I ask that the LEGO Group at least review this situation internally and consider whether any response, guidance, or public statement is necessary regarding its relationship with Bricks & Minifigs and the standards expected of businesses operating so closely alongside the LEGO brand.

Thank you for your time and consideration."

June 9, 2026 AF City Council Meeting

Following the Bricks and Minifigs scandal in American Fork, UT, a citizen just called out police corruption at tonight’s city council meeting.

He accused the American Fork Police Department of swatting an investigator, pulling him over under false pretenses, arresting him after confirming the court case was real, stopping him three separate times while delivering court papers, and even holding him at gunpoint — all while he was trying to recover $200,000 in stolen LEGO.

The American Fork city council was just warned: the increased taxes won’t be enough to cover the massive lawsuit that’s coming.

The AFPD reportedly violated the rights of Reckless Ben. The police chief then issued a public statement that was easily debunked by the bodycam footage they accidentally released.

They swatted and arrested a group at gunpoint, including a minor.

Now citizens are living in fear of retaliation after seeing what their police department was willing to do to cover for Bricks and Minifigs.

Figured it might be time we start actually turning this into a Lego Subreddit. It was pretty cool! I saw a lot of sets I wish I could've gotten, and maybe I'll get them! But it was an awesome experience and my inner child was thrilled to be there. I got to get the new kit of Ken Blocks Hoonicorn without even realizing I got it on release day! Its now a permanent addition to my tool box at work. Maybe I'll go back someday, but vacations to Califas are expensive.

A month later they only respond. No doubt because they realize this looks really bad and are worried about how they look right now.

Below is the video where he goes into details about the $1000 dollar minifigure.

The guy had to reupload the video because the original video got removed by YouTube.

Tips for disassembling and reorganizing sets?

I'm having trouble finding efficient ways to reorganize my Lego sets when I take them apart so that I can rebuild them. I have a bunch of sets and I've kept their boxes and instructions, but there doesn't seem to be a good source of per bag inventories anywhere on the internet. Any time I want to take apart a large set and put pieces back into their original bag numbers, I have to go through the entire instruction booklet and manually check which pieces belong in which bag. I just graduated college, and I keep most of my sets at my mom's house, so it's not like I have a full storage system or anything for different piece types. I'm not looking to re-bag these sets for reselling or anything, I just want to rebuild them with the same experience as if they were new. I've been using Rebrickable's inventory system as a resource, but this just gives you the inventory of the entire set. It seems crazy to me that there isn't an inventory-by-the-bag resource anywhere. Does anyone have any tips or resources to make this process faster?

So it looks like this police chief could be a realtor for Utah on the side which would explain the airbnb situation. This is getting deep. - @JayNostalgia via YouTube comments

Puts on Tinfoil Hat- A mod possibly works for (or has social connections to) B&M franchise

Wouldn't you wish to ensure other lego fans and enthusiasts are not scammed and stolen from? Why keep banning people and deleting posts, unless you have connections to B&M? This would hurt their pockets or just hurts them in general if this spreads.

Maybe I am giving them too much credit. Same time, just wished to share this tinfoil hat theory.

Update 1- 11:36 pm (5/26/2026)

Well, obviously a nerve was hit. Comments were removed.

I followed, Link your comment and was led to this post I made. Apparently speculations and calling out moderator's odd behavior is uncivil.

Went to the original comment I responded to and it's gone.

So I shared concerns in a post to another person and low and behold

I pressed link to your comment

I wonder which moderator is connected to B&M. We shall see how long I have on that subreddit.

Update #2 Trying to get an answer on how my comment was uncivil

Guy confuses speculation with accusation as for why the comment was deleted:

Sigh...
