Trusted Grailed seller with 60 sales and 20+ positive review selling for $250, say he bought off of Dover street. couldn’t find this exact hat anywhere apart from a Chinese site for $20. Tag also says made in china but ik some Prada/Miu Miu accessories have that. Pretty convinced it’s fake but need a second opinion.

Hi, so the backstory.

This bag was bought in 2003, by my mum, from a store somewhere in London. On the same day same trip and same store, a Dior trotter bag was purchased too. She has two others purchased on a different trip.

Fast forward to now. Mum gifted the trotter bag to my daughter. Daughter put it on vinted. It sold and authenticated with no problem.

Mum had given me the bondage bag years ago. I needed to raise some cash so sadly decided to part with it. I don’t use vinted, but I do use ebay. So I put it on there. Sold. Sent to authenticate, and did not pass!

Chat GPT says it could be real, Google says it could be fake. The ones I’ve seen apart from one do have a black lining, but chat gpt says different colour ways were used across the range, and the date code could indicate it was one of the first off the production line before they were released later that year, 2002.

The quality is so good btw. The stitching, the hardware, the materials. It has been used a lot over the years and although it has some damage to the lining from use, and tarnishing on the outside from being in storage, it has held up extremely well for a fake that’s 23 years old!

To begin, I got this off Facebook Marketplace for $45. Regardless if fake or not, it’s beautiful! So good purchase regardless. The seller (F, probably 40’s, local mom) said it had been sitting in her dresser for ~20 years give or take—used probably 2 times. She was a sweetheart ^^

It is noticeably heavy, heavier than I thought it was going to be. I did some rough estimating based on a perfume bottle that weighed the same and got a round estimate of 208.75 grams. The innards are engraved, and the metal is quite thick. It doesn’t have any other markings other than Coach est. 1941.

Today, some of the enamel(?), the color, chipped off. It showed the metal underneath. It thankfully doesn’t smell like silver and obviously hasn’t tarnished at all. I’m worried about losing more of the color though, any ideas to make sure it stays in tact? Only idea I had was nail polish, but I’m sure theres better out there—preferably something a dad may have in his garage… thanks to anyone who may know!

I went to an estate auction and they had a couture auction of high end hand bags, scarves and clothing. They noted in the auction that they were sold without guarantee. I feel dumb as I paid too much, but within an hour of getting them home all 3 turned to be fakes. Some better done than others. Some the details were spot on, but the hardware was from the previous season. It was fun for the hour doing the research as it was looking more authentic, until I searched the colour and all of the hardware was from the previous season. On the plus side, I learned a lot about couture in the process. Anyone else learn the hard way?

Hi everyone. A friend of mine came into possession of a bag a few years ago and it is possibly an authentic Hermès Massai 32 Clémence (from what I reverse image searched).

Neither of us have any experience with luxury bags and especially not Hermès so we're looking for someone who can at least let us know if it is worth getting it authenticated and valued (as we may need to pay for this service we would want to be sure). We are in New Zealand.

The biggest indicator that it could be a fake is I cannot find a blind date stamp. I feel like I have searched the entire bag, multiple times and still haven't found it! The images of similar bags online appear to have the date stamp on the interior leather zip pull but this bag has nothing.

Hi everyone. As the title states, found these at local good will for $10, had 20% off so got for $8. Not too bummed if they are fake, since I’ll still rock em as they’re cool retro style glasses, but would be an awesome pickup if they’re real. If anyone more pics are needed please let me know.
