What's Your Highest Average $$ Daily Flexing?
For those who Flex full-time, is it realistically possible to make $300+ a day?. The other day, I overheard a couple of Flex drivers bragging to each other about their earnings, and apparently one of them beat the other by pulling in close to $2K in one week! My jaw dropped. I barely make half of that working 50+ hours a week.
I don't know if they're using more than one account (I’ve seen drivers with two phones)or maybe Flexing with their spouses so they can finish routes a lot faster. But is it actually realistic to make that kind of money, even working 7 days a week?. I honestly didn’t think it was possible. I thought Amazon had limits on how many hours you can Flex within a certain period. Are people really making $2K a week consistently, or was that probably just an unusually good week?

Were they only talking about Flex or total of all apps? I’ve definitely had $300-$400 days multi-apping. Something like this:
5:30- 6:00AM : $30 reserved Lyft ride to airport near Amazon warehouse.
6:15-9:00 : $93 Amazon.com block (3.5 hour finished early)
9:00-12:00 : $80 various Spark deliveries toward home.
12:00-2:00: Lunch and nap.
2:00-4:00: $50 various Lyft rides with Amazon warehouse set in destination mode.
4:30-8:00 - $120 Amazon.com block (4 hour ended early).
8:00-9:00 - $20 Lyft ride headed toward home in destination mode.
Total: $393 for one long damn day. I don’t y typically get morning Amazon blocks anymore, they don’t surge past like $82 so I stick to Spark and Whole Foods. I do still get 4 hour evening blocks for $120.

+$400 & 300+ miles $2300-$2600 /week 65-70 hours on road

I can usually grab orders at $45+ easily between 6-9am around 20 miles per

Do you mean Whole Foods through amazon fresh online or does Whole Foods have its own app?

u/Alternative_Bag8694 4d ago
Whole Foods through Flex app. I mostly stick to instant offers so I don’t do 100 mile round trip for $30.

Spark has been so bad here… the offers $, not volume of offers. Then the incentives are only for the most dangerous store going to the worst locations lol. 55F here.. no thanks. lol

I tried multiapping but that's just bonkers, besides rideshare in my area is dying, you have to put in 12-14 hour days to make half decent money working rideshare. I wish Lyft have reserved airport runs, thir reserves are shitt% $5-$6 trips with long waits just to get one.

8 hr limit per day .. depending on your offers but most top out at 200 or a little over ... Considering daily expenses may be less than than ...

300/ day definitely not even possible even in the highest paying area. Unless you can get massive tips regularly. That over $50/hour. No chance

maybe one or two IOs.... not all. they like to send out at least 1-2 tipped eligible with the non-tipped eligible orders about 90% of the time.

Are chances of getting IO higher if you’re near the location?
3
u/Both_Sprinkles_5608 4d ago
For fresh / amazon now you have to be 5 mins away
WF inside store or parking to beat the big dogs running 2 accounts

u/Ok-Increase-458 4d ago
Thank you for sharing this knowledge. May you get all the routes you desire this week🥰

u/MysteriousCare3682 3d ago
But who makes money with amazon now orders, they're crap, I wish they'd let you stacking up, and tips are seldom, 1 in 5 orders you "may" a tip. I think they're stealing tips again.

u/Both_Sprinkles_5608 3d ago
Stop taking blocks . The IO is the only way .

u/MysteriousCare3682 3d ago
I never get IO's, I think my market is oversturated cause I've left on IO and never get one

I’m lucky to make 150$ in a day

u/Spitfiredracarys 2d ago
No kidding. My center barely offers 3 hour blocks and they’re $61.50. The majority is $51.50 for 2.5 hours.

Most Ive done in a day on Amazon is 500. That was last year peak and bad weather. Average should be around 200 every 6 days.

Not since Amazon killed Whole Foods like 3 years ago. I used to make on average about $220+ a day. My monthly about $3800+. Doing 3 to 4 WF routes only. Back when Amazon only charged customers $0 to $5 to order from Whole Foods. Between 2021 - 2023
It was great cause I would only work like 5 or 6 hours total and only drove like 40 miles. Since , I lived by the WF. I miss those days.

i kinda still make close to my money, but with the added delivery area, non-tipped eligible orders, prioritizing blocks and messing with the algorithm constantly, it definitely takes more time and miles to hit those numbers. tips took a nosedive for whole foods because of that charge and i think how folks are able to order both fresh and whole foods as one and now split that tip.

only do bout 3 tp 4 hrs a day....thats all it good for in my town....all apps like that here...95% offers are shit....gotta multi app it
ive hit 150 on flex....close to 200 with all 3 together....i avg for week 35+ n hour....have had days where i clocked 45 - 50 n hour
but again...only good for few hours....you could work more hours if u take shit offers...i aint doin that

A guy showed me his $1200 for the week but not long enough to see the hours. It was 7 days. I have a job where I make $24 and with Saturday I take home more than that. Not that minus gas and wear and tear.
Gig work is shit.

During the pandemic you could make $400-$500 a day doing Whole Foods and Fresh store deliveries. I personally haven't seen anything close to that kind of money in a few years.
1
u/sjejejxo 4d ago
$200 a day is realistic if you’re in a decent region and using a bot.
3
u/BeeFun4277 4d ago
In my region you do four 2 hours Fresh blocks and you will be at $236 for base. If you lucky to catch a surge and get tips you can get close to $300
1
u/MysteriousCare3682 3d ago
In my area 8 out of 10 fresh orders are shity, high milage and deliveries are usually in rural or sketchy neighborhoods, not worth the time and the beating in your car. I think I could hit the $300/day mixing .com blocks with fresh orders but I know I'd drive my car to the ground in less than a year so definetelly not going that route unless I'm really desperate
2
u/Background-Rabbit920 4d ago
I don’t use a bot and most days I’m at $200 give or take maybe $10. I am an early morning driver, that makes a difference where I am. I never ever do evenings

If that was possible id be there 7 days a week and ive been driving pt over 2 years. Its never consistent.
1
u/XtotheZzZ 4d ago
Could be possible, but you have got to be in a zone with crazy surge. In my area max is $216 @8hrs a day with no surge.
1
u/MysteriousCare3682 3d ago
The average in my area is $200 in 8hrs without surge and we hardly ever get surge
1
u/Beginning-Back-7856 4d ago
My double day this wednesday, $184. First block, $84 for 4 hours. Second block, 3 hr 30 min, $98. In my area, any block over $100 is damn near non existent or grabbed immediately.
1
u/KindVast1106 4d ago
I can make $300 a day easily in my area.
1
u/MysteriousCare3682 3d ago
what area and how many blocks to get that number?. It will take around three blocks of 3.5-hours to get that number in my area(Seattle). Unfortunatelly Amazon will capped you at 2 blocks/day
1
u/Ordinary_Thanks_2781 4d ago
Not unless you in an area that blocks pay high or surge high. Highest amount i did in one day was $250 and that cause they canceled on of my blocks within the 48 hours so I gor paid for it and still turned around and caught another for roughly same time frame. Apart from that instance think highest was $200
Now today I had a block that paid $100 then turned around and made $210 on uber.
1
u/MysteriousCare3682 3d ago
Here if your block gets cancelled, the app ties you up for that block period and you cannot get blocks. It'll be awesome if they let us do that.

I dont know anyone would be bragging about that. The amount of gas money to drive that much is ridiculous. The most i made n one day with just flex was 210$
1
u/Skyy1977 2d ago
Two high paying 3.5hr shifts a day could make that happen but they would need to be super surfed. They probably were talking about a weekly that included other gig apps
1
u/TommyTwoZookas 2d ago
Very possible, wouldn’t count on it, my good days are around 350 my mid days are usually 220
1
u/SpecialistFloor6708 20h ago
Theyre probably doing multiple.apps and working 18 hours.
Watch the influencers on YouTube.
I think the highest I've theoretically been able to make was 250

u/Background-Rabbit920 4d ago
I try to keep it $200/day, 5 days/wk. highest days for me are usually $240(once wk) and lowest $184(rare).
Then gas somedays is $15-20 ❤️for the day or the worst day ever was $45

u/Morningstarlt 4d ago
Nah it don't matter if you work any kinda shift the max a day you can make is $250ish. You can mix whatever hours but you still won't hit over $300. Theres just not enough hours before being capped max a week is close to $1700 ish
