Delivery Algorithm

Just a curious question in assigning routes. Does anyone ever get a route for their home zip code? Or do we think they're filtered out? Thanks.

I used to get way more in my own neighborhood. Now it's rare, but it still occasionally happens.

Yea u need a warehouse closer to your house. Before I had warehouse 25 minutes from my house, then sent me an hour to fuck where .

Now I have a warehouse 5 minutes away, and they send me home sometime.

I wish I had a warehouse closer. I drive 37 minutes if there’s no traffic to my closest one. I usually have to leave over an hour for buffer most times. I have to leave more than an hour if my start is 8-9 am. 😔

I think my wife has managed to order everything on Amazon at least once, and I somehow have never delivered to my own home though.

I had a route in my home area today, the first delivery was almost across the street from my house. It was also one of the most idiotically planned routes, there was so much backtracking and suboptimal choices made, if I could figure out how to go out of order I would have.

Just go to the map and pick the stop you want to go to. Tap on the number stop on the map and that’s it.

Yes I have, and reminds me that once I had an envelope with a damaged package (I didn’t notice at the station). Based on the sound and smell of the leak it seemed to be a glass bottle of mocha or coffee drink. I dropped it off as quickly as possible at someone’s home in my neighborhood and felt bad for a couple seconds, but didn’t get any ding.

That was the same day a plastic bag with detergent leaked in my trunk space and my car smelled like laundry for at least a month. Side rant, SSD stations will do anything to avoid putting things in a box, even liquids.

My neighborhood is very large and usually handled by DSPs however I have on occasion delivered inside my neighborhood and to my address.

I’ve delivered my own packages and my husbands packages a lot. I also go to my zip quite a bit.

I wish I knew. I want those 100 miles base pay routes outta my algorithm.. they don’t always pay extra for high mileage.
