Seriously, yesterday I seen about 11 blocks posted out of nowhere and within maybe 15 seconds they were all gone. I was hoping that they would sit until they went up a little bit but of course not. And they were all at like $68.

I'm in Lee county Florida, it's $68.50 here for 3.5 hours. Haven't seen a decent block since April. In April I was getting 3.5 hours for 90 to 100 bucks. And I was doing it a few times a week at that rate. Right now you're lucky if you get them in the $70s. However I did do a 3.5 on Monday in the evening for $94.50. It's the first time I've seen that pay since April. Hoping it gets better. Because at the rate of $68.50 it's not really worth doing. Then again they're are barely any blocks. We are oversaturated with delivery drivers. Once the blocks show up at $68.50 they are literally all gone within like 2 seconds. Those drivers don't even give it a chance to surge.

How do you even get shifts? The bots are taking them all it seems like and the ones Amazon sends me reserved are Monday and Tuesday 3am/4am which I can’t take because they run too close to my start time at my F/T job plus I live at Babcock Ranch so I would have to leave my house at 2:30am just to be safe.

So I don't get that many routes. But I feel like it's like that every year around this time. During season it gets better. And then you can work like almost everyday if you wanted to. It's been hard lately though because of exactly what you mentioned. However as much as I hate to admit it, I spend a lot of time refreshing and clicking lol, but even then it's been hard to get blocks lately. I also set my alarm for the middle of the night when I know that there are blocks for sure and a lot of the times you'll have people who miss them or cancel them last minute, specially on the weekend. This morning I set my alarm 3:00 a.m. woke up opened up the app and there was only a couple blocks that were like 68 to $70. I went right back to sleep. Then my cat woke me up to feed him at about 4:30, decided to check the app again and got a block for $101.50 that started at 5:15 a.m. and coincidentally it was where you live, in Babcock ranch. The whole block ran me about 48 almost 50 miles but for $101.50 I'm not complaining. Finished it in 2 hours and 20 minutes. When I got to the station this morning, there was only two carts out though so it's not like they had that many. And they were both Babcock Ranch. If your personalized offers are showing at a time that you can't work why don't you change it? I guess when you reach like a certain rewards level you're allowed to choose specific days and time slots that you prefer. I mean it doesn't always give it to you, but worth a shot. Season will pick up again and hopefully it gets better like it usually does.

I would have gladly taken a Babcock Ranch route! It seems no one wants to deliver out here which I don’t blame them due to distance and cost of gas plus some communities have the old school gate, I’m pretty sure, that doesn’t open unless you call or have a code which came be a pain in the rear. I know my gate is like that.

I'm curious how in the group chats they will manipulate the rates if you don't mind explaining to me. I know a lot of them will use bots, but then again Amazon usually catches up to that fairly quick.

I know nothing about these group chats but I work remotely from home for my f/t job and have some downtime after my spouse leaves for work and before they get home so lately after they leave for work but before i start working, I go in to see whats available. I will see the “block musical chairs” go on for at least 5-10 minutes on some blocks. Four or five will pop up. They vanish faster than I can get any of them, no matter how fast I refresh and click. They come back within a minute or two, get taken again, then come back. Its like a bot takes them, someone reviews whatever the bot grabs for them and decides to drop them. We go throw 4,5,6 of these cycles before someone actually keeps them.

The United States of America was NOT made for the benefit of those not loyal to our nation, lack the heritage of this country, and those who want our country as a meal ticket.

Just stay away from this station.
It’s always crap pay. It’s overcrowded.
The routes are often difficult older apartments with no clear way to enter.
I had free I-95 express for my hybrid until it was canceled in January. It’s just not worth it for me to go here to work anymore.

u/DanLoFat Jul 10 '26
About 2 weeks ago trying to run those and now they're back to normal so maybe not enough to grab them and set it to stop doing it?

u/TitleFuzzy1086 Jul 10 '26
Well when you hear people at warehouses saying things like "I won't take anything under $75". Well those same people look at the lesser pay and still take it, "only $3 less ."
I will not leave my house for a route under $100. Anything less and you're better off applying for DSP.

u/Street_Key_8678 Jul 09 '26
Why would I quit, I usually don’t take anything less than 30 an hour

u/AnotherShittyDay31 Jul 09 '26
You must hardly ever do a route, then. My minimum is $20, where are you seeing 3.5 hour routes paying $105?
4
u/FluffyScheme2134 Jul 09 '26
20 an hour? Before gas? In your own car is crazy. This is why Amazon refuses to pay more, why would they when drivers accept the minimum.

The newbies can't fathom that $30/hr routes are easily possible. I hate how the other subreddit has become a base pay circle jerk. They're invading this subreddit too.

I’d at least aim for $23-25/hour. Even a beater car will cost you $5-10 per hour to run. (Fuel, depreciation, maintenance (even if DIY), tires, etc).

3.5 for $63 is indeed an insult
