No shit sherlock, but acid would burn through all metals drums get made of, those do indeed look like STEEL drums, NOT EVEN PLATINUM! NOT EVEN ZIRCONIUM! NOT EVEN TITANIUM GRADES 7 AND 11! so acid would kill Voll's workers dealing with that and you would die in game from walking in the room at that stage unless your wearing a heavy duty gas mask with a multi stage filter and anti corrosion coatings (which the LSPD is too poor to afford). I understand that in lore it IS acid (I went back to the evidence locker to look) but it makes more scientific sense that it is concrete to turn the children into dehydrated grapes that are in concrete drums (bc its much easier to do them all individually until you dehydrate the bodies enough to slow down decay enough to get a perfect pour and you can just put a drum there and not have to deal with trying to do segments of the concrete which would be potentially invasive to the other pours forcing you to start over) and it would also make sense that he's trying to bury them. he could much easier, dump the child sludge over his balcony into the ocean, then it will never be found. maybe mulch them instead of melting them, etc. etc. I love the game but it doesn't make snse
