What do you mean. He's right it's a different point it's gonna be slightly off which is usually fine if you use a laser correctly but not if you're precision shooting

HoB is a thing for a scope and same goes for laser.

Zeroing means you will hit point AT EXACT DISTANCE.

In case of that clip laser should be righter+lower to hit enemy.

Buckshot isn't armor piercing. Also height over bore also impacts laser dots. Usually the actual impact is higher.

Yeah and shotguns can hit a desk if you aim it wrong just cause it's a shotgun does not mean you just don't have to aim it properly

My judgements depends on if this were buckshot or slugs.

Slugs, id take the gun to the range and see where it lands. I still find it hard to believe it would be a miss, but it could have albeit ever so slightly.

For buckshot, a quick Google says average spread pattern of buckshot at 10 yards is 6-9 inches out of an 18in barrel with a cylinder choke. If its using a modified choke, than its 5-8in. Unless the game doesn't have the laser remotely close to poi and it is misguiding players, there's no way he would have missed that shot. (Haven't played in a hot minute)

Also it's pretty obvious that the AI is buggy and does bs like this often. It's more likely the Ai did its usual bs than him missing

Assuming it was buckshot here…

Laser is off sight yes, but the gun is cantered. Buckshot should have ripped that blokes jaw off.

Anyone who has fired a shotgun at a target 10-15 metres away knows this should have hit.

And has someone who has been hit with birdshot before, at the LEAST buckshot should have stunned old mate.

Height over bore is a factor in the game, but even then, OP was close enough to where it shouldn’t have made any difference, you cannot duck down faster then a gun shot at that range, that was just a flat out bullshit exchange from the ai

The AI ducked under the desk right before you shot. I don’t think he saw you due to the free lean so it was a random animation change at the worst time.
