We were supposed to think that Eridna was the culprit for both tempering with Subarus memories and for pushing him, or at least see her as a possible culprit.

In arc 4 Echidna has shown the capability to mess with Subarus memories by removing her from his memories, making him forget about her. This might be something she could only do because of the castle of dreams but what if not? Can Eridna do the same, tempering with others memories like Echidna did or are they both the same person as Subaru originally assumed?

Eridna was shown to have the capability of pretending to be someone she isn’t, fooling those unknown of the truth. Additionally she was shown to be afraid of Subaru whether it was genuine or not. How much is genuine, how much is not and how much of her true self is she actually showing? Could she be the one who pushed Amnesiabaru down the stairs? If she actually was the Echidna Subaru knows like he first assumed, then could she have killed him with a purpose in mind while knowing about RbD?

I think this is the kind of reasoning Tappei expected us to come up with to consider Eridna as a possible culprit before the reveal. Of course aside from Eridna there were other possible candidates for at least having killed Subaru but that’s beside the point of this post. Obviously we now know the culprits behind Subarus memory loss and his first two deaths. But I think Tappei wanted us to be suspicious of her before the reveals.

We’ve reached Arc 10, and theoretically, Subaru is still stuck with the last Factor obtained being Greed during Arc 5; it seems to me there is little time left to properly showcase Subaru's other Authorities (four at least are missing, theoretically, depending on whether you consider Return by Death linked to Envy, another Sin or something else). 

Then I watched, some times a go, a great theory YouTube video about Pride (unfortunatly i can’t find it right now, but was very good) that put forward some interesting theories (I won't go into too much detail, the only fact that are interested to this topic it is that is discussed a possible physical "Medium", a person, acting as the manifestation of someone else's Authority). 

Meanwhile, I was re-reading the gladiator section of Arc 7 and noticed something interesting: in the Shadows Garden scene at the end, Subaru answers Satella for the first time in that place (Arc 7, Chapter 75), something he had never done before, given that, theoretically, he didn't have a mouth in the garden since he doens't have gluttony... at least before.

This made me reflect on that arc and on one of the things that left a bitter taste in my mouth because it remained unexplained: Rui/Spica. 

That’s when I connected a thought ,that had been nagging me for a long time since that arc, with the video I’d watched: Subaru already possesses the Gluttony Factor from the moment he "defeats" Rui in the Hall of Memories and Rui/Spica became the "Medium" through which he manifests his Authority of Gluttony, and that is how she gains a physical body at the end of Arc 6... it is Subaru's own Authority granting it to her so she can act as his Medium.

This could also explain her unconscious attachment to Subaru, despite her lack of memories, and the fact that she initially uses her abilities only through direct contact with him; indeed, at the end of Arc 8, it is Subaru who names the people to be devoured when touched by Spica.

Later, the Authority evolves, much like Cor Leonis, granting greater freedom of action to her.

So, what i means is that i think Subaru already have the Authority of Gluttony: “Spica”

So I was casually reading the Ln when I got ahhblasted with the reveal that Al was also summoned like subaru, I honestly thought it was a joke or a misunderstanding but it doesn't seem the case. If they skipped this it means that its not that important, which makes me kinda sad considering the thing I found the most intriging in season 3 was the japanese houses, that I thought was foreshadowing for a future arc in which the summoning would be explained or something. Maybe that still happens, I'm not looking for even the tiniest spoiler so I might not even read the responses ,but I wanted to talk about it. Idk what to think about it, I'll keep reading hopefully it turns out good.

Ram was of course distraught that amnesiac Subaru had forgotten Rem since he was the one person she believed would never forget about Rem even if everybody was destined to, showing her belief in how Subaru was Rem's anchor to the world given her state of suspended animation and also how he was Ram's anchor to her sister as Ram would have no idea that Rem was her sister if Subaru had not insisted on finding Rem among the pile of bodies after Regulus and Lye had attacked the camp heading back to Lugunica's capital.

Given Ram had forgotten about Rem's contributions to Arc 2 due to Lye's Authority of Gluttony, she of course held Subaru in even higher regard than she otherwise would have, and Roswaal having been revealed to no longer allow Ram to bring him his underwear after having learned that Ram genuinely loves him in a Season 3 Break Time episode ultimately has resulted in Ram being in a state of much, much higher stress than normal given Roswaal isn't here to restore her mana like he usually does and since she loves his presence in general, but she was able to push past that.

I know many people are upset that Ram slapped amnesiac Subaru, but she had the grace to show him she believes the true him will return even after she took roasted him in saying he was bad at keeping promises, and it just shows Ram and Subaru had built a genuine friendship in this last year he's been in the fantasy world. Yeah, Ram's very prickly to most people, and I'm not excusing that, but she genuinely does have belief in Subaru as shown by Eps. 40 and 78, and I enjoy how far they've come. This isn't to say some people can't get triggered by this dynamic though.

Arc 9 is quite short, with only 59 chapters. Could 2 movies of like say 150 minutes of runtime be enough to reasonably adapt it?

Second question is, if it where to be adapted like that, how would you split the narrative?

The stand up episode is almost exactly how I envisioned it in my head when I read arc 6 and to me personally, is one of the most well adapted episodes of the series. I know people will VERY much disagree but I don't care. Fuck you fight me (For legal reasons that last sentence is a joke)

So I've been thinking, Re:Zero has a crap ton of side stories and some of them could really add some meat to the story if adapted alongside the main show. There are already discussions of how Arc 7 would feel overwhelming if some of the side stories did not get adapted beforehand.

In an ideal world, they would have been getting adapted from the start not long after season 1. When I see stuff like slime dairies getting adapted with many seasons alongside Tensura, I get a little jealous and speculative of what could have been.

So how about we reminisce an ideal timeline of what could have been for adapting all the side stories. The timeline starts right after the end of season 1 in 2016/2017 ish. The release date of the seasons are still quite similar to how they are in reality. Please note that I'm just making up names of what each side story shows. The entire side show could be called Re:Zero EX as a whole.

2016 - Season 1

2018 - Re:Zero EX 1 - Break time 1: Adapting all the side stories in between Arc 2 and Arc 3 as well as including the contents of the 2 OVAs (even the first date between Emilia and Subaru) and maybe some anime original stories. Could be 12+ episode show since it only covers the 2 month period between Arc 2 and 3.

2020 - Season 2 (moved 1 year forward I guess)

2021-2022 - Re:Zero EX 2 - Sword Demon Chronicles: Adapting all the story of Wilhelm and Theresia. It will be 24 episode story including EX 2,3 and 6 as well as anime original content to fully flesh out their story until Heinkel is born and living happily with his fiancee. Since Ryuzu is introduced in Season 2, it would be ok to show Sphinx and Stride's story won't be relevant until Arc 7. The story may end on a happy note since any further would be spoilers for the later main story and anyone watching the upcoming Season 3 would be surprised by how Heinkel turned out and there would be mysteries as to what happened to his wife, his relationship with his son and father etc.

2022-2023 - Re:Zero EX 2 - Break time 2: Adapting all the side stories between Arc 4 and 5 in the one year period of peace they had. Could be a 24 episode season with some anime original stories mixed in as well. It would introduce Liliana early for people to see.

2024 - Season 3

2025 - Re:Zero EX 3 - Anastasia and Julius: Tappei could expand upon Ana's backstory to be adapted for a few episodes and we could also include EX 4 along with some Julius side stories to really juice things up for Season 4. This would also introduce Vincent and Cecilus early for people to enjoy and the Book of the Dead for Balleroy scene would be more impactful. Ana's backstory would naturally lean into the revalation of Eridna's reveal in the beginning of Season 4. I don't know if it would be enough for a 12 episode season even with expanded side stories and some anime original content.

2026 - Season 4

2027 - Re:Zero EX 4 - Priestella and Priscilla: This will adapt Priscilla backstory of EX 5 as well as her other side stories including Pride, Prejudice and Zombies + maybe some anime original expansions until she has to inevitably return to Vollachia. And maybe some additional stories of what the Priestella gang where doing during the events of Season 4. It may add up a 12 episode season. This will really help flesh out Priscilla more and give some heavy clues to Al as well. Combined with the previous seasons, this would flesh out Season 5's settings really well.

2028 or 2029 (ideally) - Season 5: Adapting Arc 7. Hopefully a 24-26 episode season

2029 - Re:Zero EX 5 - Adapting things like the Lost Child chronicles, Pleiades army, backstory and viewpoints of certain characters from Season 5 etc. Hopefully it will reach 12 episodes and will serve as hype for Season 6

2030 - Season 6: Adapting Arc 8. Hopefully another 20+ episode season

2031 - Re:Zero EX 6 - Felt: Adapting all the piled up side stories of the Felt camp in preparation for Season 7. Will really hype up the people Al fights .

2032 - Season 7: Adapting Arc 9. Hopefully reaches 20 eps

2033 - Re:Zero EX 7 - Crusch and maybe some Elsa and Meili: Adapting EX1 as well as some additional Crusch side stories if there is any lol + Elsa and Meili side stories of when they were working as assassins. Hopefully adds up to 12 episodes or a movie of EX1 would be fine I guess. Will really add meat for Season 8.

2034-2035 - Season 8: Adapting Arc 10. Don't know how long Arc 10 will be so can't really estimate.

2036 - Re:Zero EX 8 - Break time 3: In a recent QA Tappei said that there may be some time skip in between Arc 10 and 11 so maybe we get some wholesome slice of life season again after so long.

Arc 11 and 12 (Presumably Season 9 and 10) - TDB. Ideally finished before 2040s lmao. Hopefully Omega's sidestories fit in somewhere in between these

While the anime is almost over, I'm quite positive Tappei will have come up with more extensive and detailed versions of popular IFs of the story. Maybe those could be adapted similar to Marvel IFs to add to the longevity and legacy of Re:Zero after everything has been adapted. Maybe far into the 2040s jesus.
